The burgers were fresh and ordering from a covered wagon was fun and unique. The employee working was really nice. However, I don’t think my husband and I will be back. We ordered 2 burgers and we added bacon on both of our burgers which was extra charge. When we ate our burgers, we couldn’t even tell there was bacon on there. We couldn’t taste it at all. It wasn’t crispy. The bacon was really small and it was a cheap kind of bacon. We paid extra for it and couldn’t even tell a difference. We ordered a side of waffle fries for our 11 month old daughter. Most of the fries were super hard and way over done. We couldn’t feed them to her since she doesn’t have all of her teeth. We ended up throwing them away because they were just so hard and not good. It is also super expensive. No fountain drinks just canned soda. Also, when we ordered nobody else was there and we waited so long for our food. We waited in our car since it was freezing outside but the service was so slow.

The food was fabulous - flavorful and super filling! We got the mountain man burger and the Wild West burger and they were both mouthwatering. Waffle fries were delicious too! Try the spicy sauce - I’m a wimp and liked the flavor a lot šŸ™‚ Service was fast and Garret is so kind!

This is a moving truck so just beware he isn’t always at this location but so worth the stop if he’s there! He is typically here on Thursdays šŸ™‚

I have had the opportunity now to try four different burgers here, both the fry options, and the loaded fries.
Don't let the fact that its just a family owned food truck fool you. You can put their burgers up against any fast food chain or any high end burger restaurant, Burger Pioneers will come out on top.
The buns are delivered fresh every day. The quality and taste of their beef will have you coming back again and again. Believe me, I find myself stopping by two or three times a week.
You can pick any item on the menu and you'll enjoy every bite. If you find yourself struggling to choose a meal, allow me to make a suggestion. The Mountain Man Loaded Fries are amazing. Spend the extra fifty cents and add some sautƩed mushrooms. You will enjoy every single bite!
In my opinion, Burger Pioneers has the best burgers in Utah County and possibly the best in state!

After months of seeing Burger Pioneers on lists of best burgers in Utah County, I finally decided to give this place a shot. Their hours are a bit wonky, but we finally found time to get there.

I was absolutely blown away by this burger. I am the type of person to eat dozens if not hundreds of burgers per year and this might be the best one I’ve had this year. The rest of ā€œUtah County’s Best Burgersā€ were good, but never really lived up to the hype for me. This place was so flavorful, and made fresh to order. The beef patties were exceptional.

The service was also second to none! It was a hot Saturday afternoon and nobody else was there when we showed up, once we got our food the guy working came out and talked with us for 2-3 minutes, gave us a water and a punch card! Nothing over the top, but he made us feel like our business mattered.

I think this is my new burger place in Utah County for my wife and I!

I've been wanting to come here for ages and my expectations were met and then some. We were greeted super graciously and they were super helpful in helping us decide. The Waffle fries are EXCEPTIONAL. I got the mountain man fries with the jalapeƱos and I was just blown away. The fries are soft and still crispy and just AWESOME. All the toppings are delicious. The burger was also fantastic. This is honestly the best priced quality burger and fries I've had in a very long time. Support the local shops! You won't regret it here.

Wow, excellent burger (the Mountain Man!). Amazing waffle fries too! Denny, the owner, was a gracious host. Told us how his son's wife passed away unexpectedly. This food truck has been part of the recovery. The son was a chef for a couple decades before launching Burger Pioneer, and the proof is in the food. Expect to wait maybe 20 minutes or so for your food, as gourmet takes time. Also, if you go in the winter, make sure to bundle up as it is an outdoor venue. They were so friendly and kind, and the food is simply top notch. Highly recommend!

Found this place after googling ā€œbest burgers in Utah Countyā€. The usual suspects came up in the search with 4-4.5* ratings but since moving here a year ago I’ve never been hugely impressed by any burger I’ve had. Scrolled down a little and Burger Pioneers was sitting there with a perfect 5* rating, but was nowhere near the top. After reading some of the reviews we decided to head down for lunch. We were not disappointed.

We opted for the Wild West and Gold Rush Cheeseburgers from the menu. The buns are fantastic. Patty, best I’ve had in Utah. Salad, fresh as you could hope for and the pioneer sauce I don’t have words for…….epic is as close as I can offer. We accompanied our burgers with a portion of waffle fries and a regular crinkle fry…..both of which were made fresh to order and accompanied again by a lovely serving of pioneer sauce. The owner even offered us a serving of his spicy version which is even better again.

All in with drinks was around $25 which obliterates the ridiculous prices offered by these big chains……and I’d much rather give my money to hardworking, independent business owners who are really nice than some conglomerate.

The guys there are fantastic, the service was great. Hands down won’t find better in Utah County and I’ve found my go-to burger joint after a year of searching. Well done guys see you again soon

The burgers and fries are amazing. We got the Mushroom Swiss burger and an order of waffle fries. The mushrooms were sauteed perfectly. The burger was cooked amazingly, it was super juicy and delicious. The price is right on with the amount of food you get.
Highly recommend. Follow their IG or FB so you know where they are since they are a food truck.
