I purchased a refurbished vending machine from Crystal Vending in Joppa, MD. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:
**Initial Contact:** I reached out to Frank via text to inquire about available machines. He promptly sent photos, and I chose the one I liked. Although he has a physical location, I opted not to visit at the time.
**Purchase Details:** The machine cost $2,400, excluding a card reader (I provided my own). It is a Crane 780 Combo Machine. It includes a 90-day warranty on the compressor and a 30-day warranty on parts. Frank is available to service the machine after purchase, though the cost of this service was not specified. He will also walk you through fixing your machine via phone call if needed.
**Delivery:** Free within 30-40 miles. Frank will deliver anywhere in the US, but additional fees may apply. Delivery was scheduled for 48 hours after I paid my remaining balance.
**Deposit:** A $1,200 deposit was required to begin refurbishing the machine. Once ready, Frank sent photos and called to arrange a time for me to test the machine and coordinate delivery.
I asked Frank about the deposit, and he explained, “People often express interest, and I invest time and resources to refurbish the machine, but then they don’t follow through with the purchase. The deposit helps prevent no-shows.”
**Testing and Training:** Once the machine was ready, I visited the warehouse to test the machine's coils. Frank also provided training on how to use the machine. He tested each coil, went over the service menu, and explained how to maintain the machine.
**Delivery Day:** Frank arrived on time, moved the machine to its spot by himself, and answered all my final questions before leaving.
**Overall Experience: ** I would highly recommend Crystal Vending. Frank is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his customers. He is a great person and a trusted addition to my list of reliable companies. I had a positive experience, with clear communication and excellent support throughout the process. I will definitely buy from him again. In a business like this, it is hard to come across genuine people. Frank is awesome!
