This is a great place to visit with the family. There are 5 total possible experiences you can pay, independently of each other. These include the ropes course, museum, children's lab, dinosaur walk and treasure excavation; unfortunately the ropes course was closed for the season, which is arguably the most enticing attraction.

Fun little museum inside, while the walk is outside. You can pay for one of these experiences or both. I would recommend only the outside if your children are smaller and/or don't enjoy museums.....it was interesting, but when you have little that want to go you don't "get your money's worth" so to speak. The trail outside can be taken as many times as you wish, but keep in mind you will be in the sun without any shade to break in - though the trail is not long. Dino noises and movements are fun for littles as you walk the path and to my knowledge the dinosaurs are life sized......some of them could use a upgrade. Overall a fun family experience that you should consider checking out, if in the area enjoying over attractions.

The museum itself is made up of two large rooms packed with dinosaurs and fun facts—but the real adventure is outside! There’s a Dino walk and two different rope courses, so kids of all ages (probably 3 and up) can join in. Children can also dig for fossils and get the thrill of finding treasures like fool’s gold and shark teeth. Such a fun spot for dino lovers!

We took our kids and went with 4 buses full of kids from the school. The staff seemed very knowledgeable and answered all questions (even the silly ones) from the kiddos. The ropes course was fun for the bigger kids and the younger kids had fun on the course for tiny humans. Lots to look at on the walk and in the museum. There's a dig pit, picnic tables, restrooms, gift shop and a place to get drinks and snacks. If you are in the area or have a Dino fan, I would recommend going. Sorry I didn't post more pics, those were the only ones I have without kids in them.

Overall, this was a waste of money. It could have been a cool thing, but it is not. 80% of the dinosaurs on the walk didn't function properly, and the "dig pit" was a joke. Most of the "fossils" look like they are made from cement molds. Way overpriced for the experience we had. Like I said, this could have been a really neat experience but they definitely missed the mark. If it were $15 a person my expectations would have been much lower, but for four adults and two kids 3 and under, we paid $150! So, this is my honest review take it for what it is worth.

Awesome place for the entire family. Tons of activities for the kids, to include an inside tour of Dinosaur fossils, outdoor ropes course for kids and adults, and outdoor activities to include a fossil dig pit for the kids. Prices are fair, depending on the amount of activities you want to do. Large parking lot, snack bar inside, and great mountain views. Close to the Royal Gorge Bridge and awesome Whitewater Bar and Grill.

It was over priced. The ropes course was the best part. The museum was ok. The outdoor walk was not worth it most of the animatronics were broken or falling apart.

We stopped for the ropes course and the teenagers had fun. It was around $15 each for that alone. Not busy at all. We visited on Sunday early afternoon
