I live in Manhattan and have purchased Sunshine Farm’s organic extra-large eggs from my local Food Emporium twice in the past month. With the current egg market, my usual national brand was out of stock, so I decided to try a half-dozen of these for ~$6.

I have to say, these were the creamiest and freshest hard-boiled eggs I’ve made, even compared to my go-to brand, which is also USDA-certified organic but with the added plus of free-range. They were so good that I later purchased a full dozen—though at a hefty $11.99 price point. While I don’t agree with the cost, especially given overall egg pricing fluctuations, I will say that my experience so far has been two for two on quality.

I was surprised to see so many negative reviews here. If my local supermarket continues to carry this brand’s organic eggs, I plan to stick with them even after prices stabilize. However, I hope the company prioritizes customer lifetime value over short-term gains—retaining repeat buyers at a fair price will be far more profitable than capitalizing on temporary market conditions. Otherwise, I’ll simply return to my previous brand.

In conclusion, regardless of market conditions, these organic extra-large brown eggs are top-notch in quality and taste.

Bought a pack of 18 in south Brooklyn. Eggs whites are very watery and the yellows are bright yellow…eggs look sick. Throwing the eggs out and telling the vendor to not order again.

The 1 star was to be able to post. I get very sick off of any eggs from this brand. Almost immediately I get sick with terrible stomach cramps, gas, bloating to follow. If this company is feeding their chickens low quality food and not taking good care of them…it is passed down to the consumer. I will never buy these eggs or anything from this farm name brand due to the bad digestive experiences I have had.

The eggs are large and the price is cheap.
That should tell you to beware.
The egg whites are super watery, very often I get 2 yolks in an egg and the yolks look sick.
If you want to save money buy these eggs.
If you want a healthier option, pay a few dollars more and buy the premium stuff.

Well i picked these eggs up from and Asian market only bought them because of the low price compared to the ones I usually buy and on a tight budget and was a little Leary considering stories that I heard about eggs being manipulated but I gave it a try and surprisingly these eggs were very good didn't have not one problem with the whole carton so I decided to buy somore at a different time and the eggs were great!!! I don't know why there are so many bad reviews because my eggs were also fresh not rubbery so I will say thses are very good eggs and the price is outstanding for the quality so I hope I will continue to see positive result in the near future.

I don’t usually write reviews but decided to write one as I was happy to find good quality and at the same time affordable eggs, Sunshine Farms Blue Eggs, and thought this review could be of help for other people in search of the eggs that work for them. I eat very healthy and have been buying these eggs for over a year. Blue eggs are tastier and have a more yellow appealing yolk which reminds me of farm fresh eggs.

I was highly disappointed to find out these eggs were so small.I paid a hefty $6.89, which was a very high price. Key Foods marketed your eggs on Sale! What a joke! It was supposed to be extra large eggs & were really between medium and large. The Eggs were not the deep rich orange color that typically organic eggs are in other great products I have bought. This was my first purchase of Eggs at the Key Foods in Yonkers! I don't usually buy alot in Key Foods @ Nepperhan Ave. in Yonkers because their expensive and the quality of food is not great. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I would suggest you truly represent your size of eggs in the carton as what they really are & organic quality which should be a rich deep orange. Stop ripping people off! Refund should be accomodated! 🙄
