I recently contacted Fields Equipment for some assistance. I was researching a used John Deere GX85 Riding Lawnmower that had some mechanical issues for sale on Facebook Marketplace. The owner of the mower texted me a photo of the Model number and there was another decal with a Fields Equipment Stock number on it!! I was thrilled to see Fields Equipment was still in business. Berenda answered the phone when I called and was extremely courteous and helpful with the model information and then I spoke with Richard in the parts department, he was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I live in Sarasota and I am a small business owner myself. I really appreciate Friendly customer service. I know that if I ever need assistance with a John Deere I will do business with Fields Equipment. Thank you!!

Great place and people to do business with! Dennis the store manager at the Zolfo Springs store sold me an Echo CS-310 Chainsaw after showing me all of their options. They put it together, fueled it up and tested it out before selling it to me, something you don't get with the big box stores. That saw cuts oak wood like it's butter, and will probably be very useful this Hurricane season! Thank you Dennis and Fields Equipment!

They’ve had my lawn tractor in the shop about every two weeks for the last month or so. They do come pick it up and bring it back, but whatever doing isn’t last longer than 2 yard mowings.

Dropped off riding mower June 25.
Needed belts, oil chg, new blades and height adjustment. Was told it would be done in two weeks.
Called again 2 weeks later, July 9. Was told new tie rod needed and would be there in 2 days.
JULY 15TH...JUST CALLED AGAIN, PART WAS NEVER ORDERED! Will be over 3 weeks before I will get it back.
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!
If I hadn't called to check it NEVER would have been fixed!

Very bad experience the employees have zero knowledge of the equipment they sell and a extreme unwillingness to look up a part I needed. They said they were unable to look up parts for my mower deck with the number plate on the deck. I called everglades farm equipment in Ft Myers they had the part looked up in less than a minute. I guess fields was just unwilling to look it up. It's worth the drive to Everglades Farm Equipment I am a customer for life and will never use fields for anything. I would be firing people left and right if I owned the place I'm suprised they are still in business.
