They got a super old register where they get to punch in the prices. Such a great business idea for them!!! 13.99 for a dozen eggs? There's multiple farms in the area selling eggs for $6-$10. Ask for a receipt and compare it to the price tags on their stuff. Staff was hella rude each time I went in there except the woman at the meat counter. She was nice and courteous. Do yourself a favor before going to Bolinas and bring your own groceries or shop at the natural food store. Except for bread, there is a bakery next to the store that has great breads.

For many years I would visit the Bolinas market after surfing, where the deli serves delicious sandwiches and the people are always warm. Sandwich best eaten with some chips and the sun in the nearby park.

Pretty complete selection of all the basics for anyone visiting or locals. Fresh seafood and meats. Nice deli for those wanting a sandwich for lunch. Liquor selection fairly decent. Nice customer service. $10 min on cc or debit but has an ATM in store. Good to have short term parking in front when downtown is super crowded.

Ugh. Rotting old and dangerous food kept at improper temperatures. I would strongly advise against purchasing anything that isn’t shelf stable , even then, I would check the date.

Be ready to be overcharged. Especially if you are a traveler. The guy charged me $18 for $13 beer. Bolinas has its own spirit of making money

We went to the market in the morning upon hearing great reviews of their fresh fish selection. They were sold out but the fish counter man told us he was expecting a delivery that afternoon - including Black Cod- which we told him we were excited to buy. He instructed us to call before making another trip back to ensure the fish had been delivered. We called as instructed and were told the delivery would be at 4:30. When we arrived the same man working the fish counter told us all the black cod had been reserved by other people. We reminded him of our conversation and were met with a blank stare. I strongly suspect he was telling us a story to avoid selling to non-locals. Don’t waste your time here - the market in Point Reyes is infinitely better and the customer service is top-notch.
