Dirty Girl’s strawberries and dry farm tomatoes are literally THE reason I go to the downtown and east side farmers markets on a weekly basis during the summer here in Santa Cruz. They are what I dream of eating the rest of the year and eagerly await for in anticipation every summer and August can never come soon enough for their tomatoes. They are the sweetest, most delicious and flavorful (and crazy deep red!!) dry farm tomatoes I have ever had. Joe and his family are awesome and kind and friendly. I’ve never had anything but kind and friendly interactions with the workers at the markets.

Best dry farmed tomatoes in the US. Love the local pick up service even available in the outer neighborhoods. Their lettuce also actually tastes like something and lasts longer than any bought at a grocery store.

Decent produce but attitude of the vendors @ Dirty Girl Produce stand @ Stonestown Farmers market is so bad first thing in the morning that it’s better avoid. Thankfully, nothing they sell is unique or best in any way
