Sips in Benicia is a seriously great spirits and wine shop. In fact I cannot find any fault with it at all, save perhaps for limited parking. The bourbon selection is particularly well curated with hardly any trash, the prices are fair, and the service I received went above and beyond. The opening hours are generous.
If I lived closer, I'd be at Sips too much for "my friend's" health.

Highlights include the beautiful restored automobile, excellent store lighting and very visible prices, and some fun oddities: kegs of Fireball, quirky candies, rare French green liquors - you know what I'm taking about - and some hard to find and delicious Russian River wild ales.

Sips is obviously run by people with good taste who care about your booze-buying experience. I highly recommend a stop in to see what the local fuss is about.

Wow! This place is so cool! They have a HUGE selection of liquor, everything I could think of, and well stocked! The owner and manager are very nice, polite, and professional. They know all the prices and everything they have in stock. The car on display is so cool. The golf simulation area is cozy, and the candy/non-alcoholic selection is also impressive. I think this is a nice improvement to downtown Benica. It's well lit and beautifully set up and decorated. It's a happy and useful store. I am looking forward to stopping by more often and seeing it flourish!

Sips is truly a hidden gem in Benicia! The staff here is incredibly knowledgeable and always willing to help you find the perfect wine or liquor. Their selection is extensive, offering something for every taste and occasion. I love that they even offer personalized gift-wrapped bottles for special events—it's the perfect touch!

The wine tastings are always a highlight, and the golf simulator adds a unique and fun element, making it more than just a wine shop. The decor is absolutely stunning, making it the perfect place to relax, shop and even taste new items. It's the best spot in town for both wine lovers and those looking for a special gift. Five stars all the way!

I just had to write a review after visiting Sips Bottle Emporium in Benicia — this place is awesome! Not only do they have some of the rarest stuff around, but I was blown away by their huge beer selection. Craft beers, non-alcoholic beers, beers in every size — seriously, their “beer box” cooler is the coolest thing ever.

And then there’s the wine boutique! It’s super chill with this beautiful water fountain, and the whole place is temperature-controlled so the wine stays in perfect condition. The vibe in there is just amazing.

Oh, and they have a golf simulator in the back! Didn’t expect that, but it’s such a fun touch.

The customer service here is top-notch too. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Overall, I left feeling like I found a hidden gem. Definitely gonna be my go-to spot from now on!

I first visited Sips when KV was starting out in a cool, "speakeasy-ish" location behind First Street. Well, this really is an "Oh the places you'll go" analogy between then and now. KV had a vision that would impress Dr. Seuss, and he's achieving it! Since opening up the Sips location on First, it's a real treat to pay him and the store a visit. From the gorgeous space to the variety of spirits, beer, wine, bubbles, and soda Sips offers, there really is something for everyone (even fun candy and zero proof for under age and non-drinkers). My husband and I love making Paper Plane cocktails at home, and now we finally have a local spot that carries Amaro Nonino! So thanks KV and Sips for becoming such an integral part of our community and for putting Benicia on the map with celebrity visits.
