Whew! Mary knows her stuff. How refreshing it was to be educated on local plants & shown tried methods in her local garden that I can apply to my own garden here in Sonoma County. I very much enjoyed Mary’s approach & the resources she provides. Don’t forget about her YouTube videos as well, very helpful! I have had the pleasure of being tutored by the Gardening Tutor for the last 4 years .I built a new house after the Tubbs fire and the contractor was responsible for designing and planting my front and back yards, approximately 1/3 of an acre. It turns out that many of the plantings are inappropriate and planted incorrectly. Mary is professional and extremely knowledgeable of virtually everything in a garden. She can do everything and is a gifted instructor. I had never had a garden of any type and the work Mary has done in teaching me how to do most things on my own has been very enjoyable and rewarding for me. She is patient and doesn't mind at all that she has to go over lots of things with me several times! I look forward to my sessions with her. She has taught me a great deal, improved the appearance of my yards, and makes me look forward to her visits. She's the best!
