Be sure to stop at the distillery downstairs while you’re there!

Not sure what happened but the food was really disappointing. We stopped by around 2pm. They had no fish for fish and chips. Gotten severely over-fried prawns and chips. The pizza was just pale undercooked, and with no asked pepperoni. Ordered impossible burger came as garden burger instead. But it had good salad.

We stopped in here unexpectedly for a quick bite to eat for lunch, and it didn’t disappoint!

The building itself is very neat and unique! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, as well as seating at the bar. There are plenty of tables and chairs available. I didn’t notice a parking lot for the restaurant itself, and we opted to park on the street just a short walk away.

They have a nice selection of items on the menu ranging from typical pub food (onion rings, mozzarella sticks…) to salads and main dishes (fish and chips, burgers, sandwiches…). I went with the “Lauren’s Cheeseburger”, and it was very good!

The staff were very friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. There are two restrooms in the building, as well as a fun array of children’s artwork displayed on the walls.

Definitely stop in and pay a visit to Lauren’s!

We had dinner here a couple of nights ago, in all honesty without expectations because we had heard it was "just pub food". Oooh but boy, we were so gladly surprised! The food was amazing, plate by plate. The salad was creative and had super fresh, colourful ingredients and a delicious dressing. Definitely try the roasted garlic - it will at least keep vampires away ? the staff was super friendly too, and the place itself has just some very cozy vibes going on. Do stop by if you're around!

Lauren's at The Buckhorn served up a delightful meal. The fish and chips were crispy and flavorful, while the chips were perfectly cooked and the aioli went well with them. The coconut shrimp was a pleasant surprise, offering a delicious twist. Overall, a satisfying dining experience with enjoyable seafood options. Four stars!

I am so disappointed in my experience here. Very few things open past 8, so we went here to grab a quick dinner on our way out. The service by far was the worst. It was counter service, which is fine, but they were out of water and when we asked to get water the server gave attitude about how they were about to close before giving us water (we placed our order at 815 and they close at 9). After we ordered food, just 2 burgers, it took about 25 minutes despite being the only people there. The server just seemed so over it, she was not friendly at all. We gave her a good tip when we placed our order because we could see she was having a rough day, it didn't seem to make a difference. The food was super hot, didn't taste great, but we just ate and left. We have been here before, and we were satisfied with both the food and service, but now we ain't going back.

If you're in Booneville you need to check this place out! Check online for availability of food. Full bar 7 nights a week. We had the most wonderful lunch last time we were in town. Service was great. Food was delicious!

One of only very few places to eat in Boonville, but worth a stop. Fish and chips were good. Plenty of off street parking on the side. Unusual business hours, so check before you go. Would recommend.
