Although it says "washed and ready to use", obviously it's not. The only reason we purchase is because it's ready to eat, so there's no purpose in buying it anymore. These pictures are only the surface, we haven't looked inside yet, but if the outside is like this how much would you trust the inside to be clean?

Fresh Leaf Farms single cut "Better Green Leaf" lettuce is labeled "washed and ready to use" but has gnats in it. We normally buy the Kroger brand but Kroger was out of its own brand, so we bought this. We won't make that mistake again. Nasty.

I purchased the romaine lettuce at Kroger, Hyde Park, OH. Wow was I surprised how beautiful it was...how fresh...how long it last. I am a HUGE fan and will only buy yours from now on. They were out of the romaine today so i bought the green leaf lettuce.
