It was the year 2010. It was time. Time to get rid of the lawn and embrace a drought-tolerant front yard with indigenous plants. And it would be cool to have a "blue" theme to go with our new roof. Scott to the rescue! It's been 22 years now and all the plants that Scott orchestrated are now in a comfortable size and bloom. The centerpiece is this marvelous Bismarck Palm that clearly loves living in our front yard! It's a man's yard that a woman can love, too. Scott was hands-on throughout the project, with my husband conducting a lot of labor, too. Take a look at see for yourself how Scott's vision came to fruition. We LOVE it. And the savings from what we would have spent on watering a lawn have made a real difference.

Scott is a marvel of plant knowledge and landscape know-how. He knows everything about fruit trees, which he cultivates and grafts himself, as well as expertly plants and prunes. He is terrific at troubleshooting what's going wrong in the garden, and I've brought him in to consult on an ongoing basis as my new California native garden takes hold. He has helped me pick the right plant for the right place and has carefully planted new plants and trees to give them their best start. Scott has been an invaluable resource. I have recommended him to tons of people, and everyone agrees that he's phenomenally knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with.

Scott redid our landscaping in 2017. Minor work in front and major overhaul in rear, in conjunction with the hardscape contractor, rerouting sprinkler lines and installing plants per architects plans including a severe 50 foot bank. Scott made recommendations along the way regarding native plants that would do better than some recommended by the architect and executed the job without a hitch. Now as we self isolate due to the Covid virus and spend so much time in the rear yard we are so thankful for Scott because our yard is beautiful and we have to drag ourselves away from it to get anything else done. Thanks again, Scott.
