Beer tastes are personal and brewery preferences are based on individuals choices. With that said, I am sorry to say I wasn't a fan of El Dorado brewing company. It's located in an industrial center. There's no thought on comfort or how to get the customers to stay longer. The beer is okay. After sampling a few items on the tap, there wasn't any I wanted to take home or enjoy at the brewery. It's not a great date spot. I would recommend the brewery make the inside more inviting and provide games for their clientele. Also, provide solid food options to serve during business hours.

Great opening night with The O'Connell Street Band and amazing beers and a side taco vendor. The crowd was gracious and fun.

Cool stop in the area. The beer was solid, though not exceptional. The owner/brewmaster was friendly and knowledgeable. We were also able to hang out with our dog which is great.

Stopped by here yesterday for the first time, and was very impressed! Had a sampler, and loved every one!

Greg makes excellent beers. Clean, varied, and no "house flavor". Greg uses an exceptionally varied selection of base and specialty malts, yeasts and hops, and he is obviously a very skilled brewer. All beers were true to style, unpretentious, and a joy to drink!

The tasting room is nicely appointed, welcoming, and comfortable.

Couldn't give a higher recommendation!

Greg runs a great brewery with quality draft and bottle options. He puts a lot of detail into each beer and really understands the traditional styles of brewing. Swing in and give them a try as you will quickly find a favorite.

Great beer by Greg. Stop by if you get a chance. Greg has been brewing beer locally for years and finally opened up a retail brewery and tasting room here in El Dorado County. He brews some of the best beer around. Try it, you will like it.

Very nice facility, however the beer is sub par. The only good beer was the stout and the red, but that's a problem the lighter beers like IPA and lager weren't very good. Because it's easier to brew darker beers and they hide flaws. I think this brewery has a small flaw because all the lighter beers tasted a bit off. Then we talked with one of the partners and he mentioned he wanted to run another local brewery out of business and claimed his beer was far superior to the other brewery. I explained it's always good to have multiple breweries close together to add to the community and appeal of beer lovers and he looked at me like I was crazy that his brewery was the best and should be the only one. Whatever, the industry chews up and spits out guys like this. I mean he was friendly, but has the wrong Brewer and wrong attitude for me to return.
