We had a few trees that needed to be trimmed. We had them trimmed before but weren’t happy with the results. 2 of them had our concern, since 1 is hanging over the neighbor’s side (and they have kids), the other had the city’s wires/cable went through the branches. So we wanted to make sure everything is done the right way, and everyone is covered. After asking a couple tree trimmers for their insurance information before the job started, and none of them of them responded back to us, we asked around for recommendations. Acosta Tree Service was recommended to us by a friend. Ruben was very responsive and friendly, and provided us the info we needed before the job started with no problem. He even sent me his ID before he came for the estimate, which none did before. He gave me the names of his team and vehicles/ equipments. And they did an awesome job. It was like a show for my kid watching them taking the trees down from the windows. They cleaned up nicely after. Very professional.
To be honest, his price was a bit over our budget, but we sooo glad we went with them for the peace of mind. I guess you get what you pay for.

We're very pleased and happy that we decided to go with Acosta Tree Service. After meeting with Ruben he was very knowledgeable about his trees and the best way to remove the tree with the least amount of damage to our grass and surrounding area.

Acosta Tree Services did have the best estimate out of the 2 other bids we got. Ruben worked with us on the cost and took into consideration our budget for the project. Ruben was very friendly and professional.

Our job was a big job, no small trees here. The quote included the following:

1 California Sycamore Tree; Removed, stump grinding and disposal.
2 Liquid Amber Trees balanced, shaped and thinned. (The trees look beautiful now!)

Again I want to say how pleased we are with the work they did, those guy's hustled all day! The crew was professional plus super friendly even when my kids went out to sit with them on their lunch break.

They did an awesome job cleaning up once the tree was cut down. They also stacked wood for us for firewood (be prepared if you are going to keep some wood. Clean a space ahead of time and they will stack it for you).

They did make a second trip to grind the stump and boy was that a fun experience...wood chips for day's! They asked use if we were keeping the wood chips and I said yes. We used the chips to fill the planters around the house, look's amazing now. (If you plan on keeping the wood chips be prepared to make the room for them!)

I will be calling them back in the future because I have 5 citrus trees in my backyard that I need to have maintenance on a regular basis.

I would completely recommend this company to all my friends and family that are in need of tree service!

Called around for estimates and Ruben was the most polite on the phone, and even followed up afterwards. His crew was on time and did a fantastic job! Acosta Tree Service is very reliable. Workers come here early at 7am. They are very fast and professional. Also their price is good. After tree removal, they help clean the floor and make the ground look very flat. We are satisfied with their service and appreciate their help!

The guys from Acosta Tree Service (Ruben, Raul & their crew) were excellent! We had a huge fallen tree in front of our home in Hacienda Heights. They came out very quickly (next day) and safely removed the tree. They also cleaned up nicely after the removal. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs a professional tree removal service. I would give more stars if that was an option. Acosta Tree Service is professional, prompt, honest, and most importantly, they are KNOWLEDGABLE, EXPERIENCED AND WELL-TRAINED. All employees are personable, professional and treat your property with respect (no smoking, liter, foul language, loud music).

They did a lot of work on my property including tree trimming, sadly a huge pine tree was removed including stump grinding. They did an excellent job of cleaning up, even my pool.

I worked with Ruben who has excellent follow-up. I recently moved to California and called all of the tree trimmers that were working in my neighborhood, most never called back or called weeks later. Rubin is super busy but treats his clients like they are the only one that matters.

They offered firewood storage and delivery with the wood that they take. Rubin came and did walk throughs with me before and after the work. The work took two separate days.

My Palm Tree was over grown and hadn’t been trimmed in years. My friend recommend Acosta Tree Service,. They had great customer service over the phone, even set up service within 24 hours, with a reasonable price. 3 professional uniformed men showed up at 7am with a big truck. They worked so quickly and had the job done within an hour. They cleaned up and took all the bark with them. My palm tree looks so beautiful now, even my friends noticed. I highly recommend them and I will continue service with Acosta in the future.

Ruben and his team are extremely passionate and professional. We had a large, complex yard with old, tropical trees and growth. Other tree services had botched them up over the years, harming their development and life. Ruben is able to outbid other tree services on what they recommend, but ultimately he will show you how to save future expenses--extending the life of your trees and plants. He's trained (went to school for this). It's rare to meet someone so passionate about building a great organization, especially as young as Ruben is--and in an industry dominated by contractors who will usually chop trees up in ways that make it more vulnerable to pests, but cheaper and easier for them. Acosta Tree Service was a pleasure to work with, and our yard looks amazing.
