I attended a "Drones in Agriculture" workshop last weekend presented by Luis Escobedo from Agrobyte.
We always try to stay abreast of the latest technologies and even knowing a little about how drones are used in Agriculture, this workshop opened up the entire scope of how drones are used, the efficiency and cost savings of their use. More importantly, the impact of the exploding population and the food that needs to be grown to supply the demand and how through the use of precision agriculture the impact on the environment will be somewhat mitigated. Glad I attended. Very eye opening. The day was spent in classroom and outside where we were able to witness the drones in action collecting data and the having a spraying drone actually fly and spray based on the data collected. Would definately recommend this workshop for anyone interested.

Luis is very friendly but this shop is beyond unorganized. I needed to place a $7,000 order and it took me reaching out for weeks to even get a quote in hand. Then, the quote was wrong 2x, then I had to follow up 3x before they got back to me on where to send payment. Then, the order came late and when I questioned it he sent me someone else’s order information. Then, it took them nearly 2 months to register and provide warranty information after repeated follow ups. Very knowledgeable and kind but I would recommend purchasing drones from somewhere else.
