I cannot recommend Alchemist Farms enough! From the moment I first ordered the customer service was exceptional! I even inquired about pushing up my order and few weeks and they gladly accommodated!
Our family received our 12 chicks last week! We ordered 9 and they kindly added 3 more! The baby chicks arrived in perfect condition and have been lively and friendly from the moment they arrived. My kids are over the moon! Our Labrador loves them! Our neighbors love them!
We are so excited for a rainbow of eggs hopefully by next spring! Chicken math is real because I already want more!

What an amazing farm! I love what they stand for, their care and compassion towards chickens and the earth! I purchased 6 baby chicks and they all came to me completely healthy and vibrant! All friendly too! I was even surprised to see two extra babies in the mix 🙂 I love that their shipping box and contents are all eco friendly as well! I recommend Alchemist Farm to everyone! I am a first time chicken owner and first time customer to Alchemist Farm. What I love the most is that I have been able to personally interact with Franchesca; asking questions, getting feedback, assistance before, during, and after my transaction. That is so important to me! These chicks are 6 weeks old and what is completely evident that they have wonderful temperaments. Of course, they are beautiful, HEALTHY, and even funny, but the fact that they have been bred to be sweet, engaging, curious.... that is what is important to me. Alchemist Farm's dedication to their birds is incredible and I will forever be a customer!

Had such a wonderful experience with Alchemist Farm! Highly recommend for anyone looking to purchase chicks from an intentional and loving farm. I’m a first time chicken mama and the process was so simple. Directions on delivery and care were sent to me in an email, the chicks were shipped and packaged perfectly in biodegradable packaging, there were lots of little caring details, and all the babies arrived happy, healthy, and well. I have purchased chicks from Alchemist Farm three different times with a fourth order pending for April ‘24. We have had over 100 chicks and can say they are the best - the demeanor of the birds, quality of the stock (feathers and size), and production are top notch. Even the roosters are amazing!

Great variety of chicks, all breeds come with pictures and info about every chicken. Great customer service. Chicks were delivered on promised date in box with bedding, gel food and warm "pouch". All chicks were healthy and very good looking 🙂 pure joy in the box. Definitely will buy again from Alchemist farm.

I will ONLY order my chicks from Alchemist from now on! The experience was above and beyond better compared to the huge mega-hatcheries and the quality of the breeding is superb.

Not only are the chicks bred primarily for the traits I care most about (temperament and egg color, in addition to ability to forage), but Alchemist is committed to providing humane shipment with heat packs and grow gel in every shipment. While chicks "can" survive without these, who would want to be hungry and cold for their first few days of life? After receiving shipments from the big hatcheries with many dead chicks, compared to 100% alive from Alchemist, another reason I will only get my birds from here!

Franchesca is also extremely kind and responsive and cares about her flocks. Support a small farmer, especially one as great as her!

Finally, while many of her chickens are straight run, the roosters are beautiful and I think it's important for us to all recognize pullets don't hatch in isolation.
