Great gelato at Alessio Artisanal Gelato! We loved the chocolate, Belgian waffle, and coffee flavors. Nice dog friendly outdoor bench seating. Great area to pull over and take a break from the busy road. Friendly and quick service. Definitely recommend!

Their gelato is so good. Many flavors will be sold out before end of the day. The owner said he makes fresh ice cream everyday with natural and high quality ingredients. You can definitely taste that.

One of the best gelato I had in the US in a long time. This is the real thing, comparable to what you get in Italy. Alessio makes and serves it himself. Definitely must do if you are in Solvang.

The best ice cream shop ever! The ice cream was incredibly delicious!
honestly, even better than the gelato I had in Rome! The affogato was out of this world: so creamy and flavorful.
The guy working there was amazing; so patient and polite. He let us try as many flavors as we wanted without rushing us, which made the experience even better.
You can tell they truly care about their customers and the quality of their products.

I’ll definitely be coming back again and recommending this place to everyone I know!
