This is definitely a good activity for everyone in the family. They have plenty of space for people to spread out over their man-made lakes and as it stands right now, they are alternating the availability of the lakes to give fish a chance to get breaks or bigger.

The place opens at 10am and stays open until 4pm. It's $20 per one fishing pole with bait. Non-fishing bystanders are $5. No reservations needed and like most other places in Hawaii it is busier during the weekend versus the week days

There is a picnic area next to the Fish Shack where you can enjoy the shade and food. They sell daily specials of food (today they had shrimp sinigang, garlic shrimp, garlic chicken and fish sinigang) but they will also cook the fish you caught to your liking: fried, grilled, or steamed for additional charge. You can purchase drinks here as well. Just don't forget a roll of paper towels if you are planning on dining here. The staff are super friendly and there is a place to wash your hands after.

I highly recommend this place. You can bring chairs and even canopies out to make your fishing session more comfortable. The sun does get hot out so don't forget your sunscreen, hats and or umbrellas.

>><< Came back March 2024. We're so happy we came early as the place started to really fill up around 11:30 this morning. It is the first day of Spring Break. The price has changed to $24 per person with bait. Fish caught is charged $8 per pound when you return your poles. To clean and fry a fish for lunch we paid $8.50 per plate. The plate came with a big scoop of rice, fresh cut pineapple covered in li hing mui powder, side salad and a sauce of your choice. We picked shoyu with calamansi. Canned drinks or bottled water sold separately. We had an awesome time. Even with the price I still highly recommend this place.

This place is REALLY fun and a great outdoor experience for kids. We were joking that it feels like cheating because you can catch so many fish, so easily. You pay for 4 hours but most people only stay for an hour. We could see why after a while. As parents we were running so hard to bait and release the poles for our kids that we barely had time for a few photos. They do offer to throw the old fashioned net in if you don't catch any fish, but I can't even imagine that because we were literally catching fish within 10 to 30 seconds constantly.

A piece of advice... bring a camp chair and a hat/sunscreen. There is no shade around the pond.

A word of warning... the meal is AUTHENTIC Hawaiian... and it was a huge shock to our kids when they brought out the whole fried fish looking similar to what they just caught but with mouths open wide and giant holes where the eyes used to be. In the end they loved it but a little notice may have been nice, haha.

We loved it and will be going back.

THIS IS ONE OF HAWAII'S BEST KEPT SECRETS!

Good place for fishing to relax. If u want food, make sure u order first before going fishing because it takes a long time to prepare food. If u catch the fish, make sure to throw it back right away because they will charge each 🐟 u have.

Got here when they opened (10 am), got our bamboo poles ($20 per pole; don't bring your own) and went to town to fish! They'll instruct you on which of their 3 large ponds to fish in. With a little patience practically everyone will catch a tilapia! I heard that they have catfish as well but we did not see any. They give you bait, which looks like uncooked bread dough, and it's more than enough for a day there. I recommend to bring gloves to grab the fish and unhook them from the line (they'll provide you with a bucket). Hand sanitizer's good to have since there's 1 porta potty and no sinks. We (multiple families) ended up staying for 4 hours! Definitely bring hats and sunscreen if you're out around noon. This place will also clean and cook your fish (steamed or fried) for an additional fee. There was only 1 lady taking care of everything so I'd recommend to put your order in ASAP. Overall a fun place to bring the family and enjoy the challenge of fishing!

We love this fish farm! My son thoroughly enjoys this place and we do too. It’s so fun. Recommend hat, beach/lawn chairs, and umbrella or tent. It get sunny sometimes and there’s no natural shade. No entry price but to fish you need to rent a bamboo fishing pole ($20/pole - it comes with fish food). You pay for the fish you want to get cooked as well.
