Just bought a jar of "Grandmothers' Fig Pastry filling". TERRIBLE! Almost ALL SUGAR! Pure GARBAGE. High Fructose Corn syrup, Liquid Sugar, fig "paste", Phosphoric Acid (rust remover), and pectin. Don't know who's grandmother came up with this, but she is trying to poison you. Returning it to the store.
