Beautiful island farm that puts on an outstanding fall festival every year. Lots of things to do here on a day trip. They have a greenbean field, sunflower field, pumpkins etc. There is a festival grounds on the farm for the fall fest with various vendors and rides. The fall festival is $5 per person and 2 year olds and below is free. Overall, my family had a great time!

Love Aloun Farms! We go every year for the Pumpkin Festival and every year there's always so many fun things to do! From walking in the sunflowers, to the great performances, ono grinds and the rides. Let's not forget picking your pumpkin, either in the Festival area or in the field. After a full day there, the keiki came home and crashed!

My sister and brother-in-law live nearby and they've been coming here for corn-picking for the last 7 years or so. This year, my visit finally aligned with corn-picking season, so we decided to go on the second Sunday (I believe it's only available for the last three weekends of October).

Apparently, there used to be no limit as to how many ears of corn you could pick. As long as you could fit it in your bucket, unshucked, then it was yours. This year, they capped it at 40. On top of that, the corns were very skinny this year (according to the sis). She said they're normally double the size and it seemed like the corn this year weren't quite ready for picking yet.

Admission is $3 per person, and I believe the bucket is $18, so the corn won't be as cheap as it is at a supermarket (especially not with the cap). But, it's a fun and unique experience. I've never been corn-picking before, only apple-picking. It gets really hot out in the field though, and you should definitely expect to get dirty.

There's a pumpkin patch that you can take photos with, but you can't pick the pumpkins from it. Instead, the pumpkins you can purchase are all in a cardboard bin. Also for purchase are some other fruits and veggies at this little farmer's market they have by the entrance.

I think this was more of a one-time experience for me, but I would recommend it to anyone who has never been.

This was my first time going to this farm and pumpkin patch, let alone my first pumpkin patch in Hawaii, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised!

-It was very well run and coordinated. Lots of helpful employees.
-There were a lot of food/drink vendors as well as other local vendors (like honey, tea, henna tattoos).
-So many little rides and activities for the kiddies (including a petting zoo, pony and horseback rides, actual small rides, etc)
-A stage with live music
-A covered area with picnic tables for eating and resting
-A small farmer’s market with some fruit and veggies
-Small pumpkins and gourds from bins
-And most importantly, an actual u-pick pumpkin patch (although most pumpkins were already picked and set toward the side for easy grabbing, you can still walk through the patch and peruse/pick what you want!), a beautiful u-pick sunflower field, and u-pick beans, with tractor rides to the fields (which is fun, but if you prefer walking, it’s not far at all :))

Things to note:
-Parking is on mud/old corn fields, so bring the right car and footwear.
-It’s helpful to bring your own cart or something to carry the pumpkins and such. A small reusable grocery bag for smaller pumpkins and gourds would be great too.
-It would also be helpful to bring your own sheers if you plan to cut sunflowers from the field. We asked an employee if they had cutters we could use and they told us we could just pull the whole sunflower straight out of the ground, so that’s what we did 😂

Ewa Plain jewel as the development fills in around them. Family fun, carnival, fresh farm food, pumpkin 🎃, corn 🌽, banana 🍌, and sunflower 🌻. Few weeks in October for fall. Special events for large groups in week. Can be a bit hot and dusty. Staff helpful and friendly.
