Great little authentic Italian deli. No frills. Great spot for a sandwich and has a decent but small assortment of Italian grocery items. Jarred artichokes, sauces, pasta, cookies, ravioli, etc.

Best Deli in Jersey City…friendly, warm, inviting and the food is top notch. Deli meats sliced and packaged in wax paper the way it should be! Everything sold here is excellent quality. There is a reason it’s so loved. Also, Pete’s special tuna with mutz is not to be missed!

Culinary excellence in every sense of the word. Most delicious Italian sandwiches I’ve had, and I lived in bk for 10 years. I wake up thinking about these sandwiches. Samantha and I go every time we’re in Jersey City. Owner Pete and his son Nico are the real deal. Thank you guys !!!!

My mother put me on to these sandwiches almost 20 years ago. Same thing everytime , Turkey mozz sun dried tomato balsamic mayo . I started getting them everytime I’m in Jersey city for work , and they are fresh everytime … I love how the shop looks like I stepped into a little piece of Italy with all of the foreign goods on the shelves

BEST DELI EVER. The quality of the meats was phenomenal. The fresh mootz was to die for. Brando took care of us, and it was a pleasure from beginning to end. Super authentic Italian deli. A+ MUST Try!!!

Visiting from Florida, my friend takes me to this place. Said they have the best sandwiches in NJ. Bold statement I thought, so let’s give it a shot. He wasn’t lying. The Soprano sandwich, which is what I got, was out of this world. The man behind the counter made a joke saying that the only thing about that sandwich I should know, is when I finish it, I’ll be able to speak Italian. Might not be able to do that but for a moment I felt like I was actually eating food over there. Every time I come back to NJ I’ll be getting a sandwich here. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

Been shopping here for about 45 years. Still the same family, still the same high quality. I come from out of town on special trips, and this is the place I go to buy "gifts" for my ex-Jersey friends who want the taste of home.
Pete is the best. They deserve more than the occasional write-up or award in the papers. Pete has also helped out in the community, donating money to St. Nicks while the school was open with Easter fundraisers. I wish I could make more trips, and I could eat this stuff every day.
