came with my mom for my birthday. and as soon as we walked through the doors (push don’t pull) we were welcomed into a beautiful, spacious restaurant. i appreciate the remnants of the former church, especially the stained glass windows. bread was fine; i think i prefer it to be warm. the arcarita was delicious, and both my mom and i enjoyed the crispy bistro calamari. i had the linguine nero and was amazed with the amount of lobster meat and shrimp. delicious meal and a great experience so we’ll be back for more.

Arca is a new local restaurant. It’s an old church. There’s a lot of private areas within the building if you want to have a party here. The staff is attentive; almost too attentive- never having enough time to have a full conversation with your family without being asked if everything is okay or if someone wants parmesan. There are no true vegetarian entrees. You can order some pasta dishes without the meat but you still are paying the same price for the meal. Atmosphere is nice, parking is plenty.

This building use to be my husbands family church and my son was baptized there. So we couldn’t wait to go there after turning it into a restaurant. I’m glad they kept some of the old charm. We had an excellent meal and staff very efficient and friendly. Table was a bit rocky. So there was some spillage. A little on the pricey side but seems to be the norm.

We had steak tartare as an appetizer, and it was delicious! Entrees, Branzino with truffle mashroom risotto and lemon caper sauce and squid ink linguine with pistachio pesto sauce, baby shrimp and lobster, was so good. This place is a great place in Lincoln Park NJ. Highly recommended 👌

Salty. Greasy. Soggy. Pricey. Missing items from the order. Other patrons chicken wings served cold. Servers hanging outside smoking is unsightly. The beer was cold. We'll be back next year for a beer.
