CASH ONLY. Best Burgers I've had in Alaska, no question you should bring friends and family here to eat. Self seating and lot's of outdoor seats for warm weather. 100% recommend getting the house made fried onions.

A unique and excellent place to stop for a quick lunch. Burger was delicious and filling with lots of bacon. Their huckleberry milkshakes are amazing.

After some online research on places we should eat at while in Anchorage one restaurant kept popping up. Artic Roadrunner was a "must try" place. Wow, we were glad we did.

It's a really busy place so don't be surprised at a little crowd. You order at the counter where they give you a number while the food is cooked. It's a "hopping" place, sometimes a bit chaotic, but it's worth the wait.

The burgers are amazing. But the best part, the Onion Pieces (not the standard, food service onion rings). These are a food group until themselves. They are AMAZING.

The restaurant is large and has plenty of seating.

If you're in Anchorage, join the locals and try the Artic Roadrunner.

Arctic Roadrunner is an Alaskan Landmark. Located on The Old Seward highway on the beautiful bank of Campbell Creek. There is plenty of outdoor eating to enjoy thar beautiful 65 degree weather. Indoor is iconic with picture and replica scatter throughout. This place is a fast food joint, there's no other way to describe it. But it's a great fast food restaurant. They cook your food while you wait so it take a little time. And the food is really good. Sorry no food pics or table was rarher crowded and our friend and use were playing a card game. This place moves the people through because a lot of people come here. It's an Anchorage icon. Do yourself a favor and enjoy it. Will I go back? Hell yes and you will too.

Burger was delicious. Mexican sandwich was tasty but a little overloaded and soggy. Fries and salad were good.

The raspberry tea was out of syrup and just pumping water but the restaurant was very busy so it made sense that they likely hadn't had a chance to change it out.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the atmosphere and decor were really neat with lots of pictures and artifacts from Anchorage and the restaurant's history.

How in the world had I not found this place! Been to Anchorage ten times in last seven years and never found this gem till today which is my last day of a 14 day trip for work. This place is amazing! Service was top notch, kids working counter were nice polite. There was a line but that is a good sign! Will be back next trip for sure, amazing atmosphere all around. Burger was cooked perfect and bacon was abundant and not two little limp slices but six pieces of crispy bacon like it should be on a Bacon Cheeseburger!

Trays are dirty, food is undercooked and served cold. The onion pieces, are so oily and undercooked it’s inedible, as are the fries. Not pictured are the French dip-flavorless and hamburger-which came out before we paid somehow. Cash only, but taking orders on iPads lol. $33+ and just all around bad. It’s sad to see such a historically great restaurant fail so miserably.
