From the moment we arrived, this resort absolutely blew us away. Every aspect—from the breathtaking location to the thoughtfully designed setting—exceeded our expectations. There was no shortage of fun activities, offering something for everyone.

One of the highlights for us was the kids’ splash pool area with slides, which provided endless entertainment. The beach was stunning, with soft sand and crystal-clear water, making it perfect for relaxation and play. And let’s not forget the snow cones and snacks—a delightful treat that added to the experience!

The character breakfast is a must!

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, ensuring a restful stay. Every detail of this resort was truly lovely, making our visit both memorable and special.

Wow, was I blown away! I had high expectations because it’s Disney, but Aulani exceeded them. As an interior designer, I was in heaven, every detail, from the rich woodwork to the seamless blend of Hawaiian culture and modern luxury, was impeccably done. The resort is truly for everyone, whether you’re a family with kids enjoying the pools and character experiences or an adult looking to relax in the many serene, adult-only areas. The protected cove is beautiful (though the ocean is a bit chilly), and the Laniwai Spa is an absolute must one of the best, most relaxing experiences I’ve ever had.

Beyond the design, the resort offers incredible dining, shopping, and entertainment. While the food is on the pricier side, I believe it’s worth it for the quality and experience. Everywhere you turn, there’s something magical, whether it’s the stunning views, thoughtful service, or the little Disney touches that make the stay unforgettable. Aulani is the perfect mix of Disney magic and Hawaiian paradise I’m already dreaming of my next trip back!

Was blessed to stay in a very comfortable one bedroom ocean view DVC studio villa for spring break during the first week of March 2025. The highlight was definitely a visit to their Laniwai Spa for a pedicure and massage. The incredible cast members at this resort are so happy, helpful. This was my third stay here, and it's better than ever before with more to see and do. Loved their snorkeling, lazy river, Menehune statues, 'Ōlelo Room bar, shaved ice with condensed milk, vanilla soft serve ice cream, and corn dog nuggets. ||The Hawaiian edutainment is everywhere on this property, and the resort has a very relaxing, calming feeling. Loved reading from the balcony while overlooking the beach or luau below me. Room and bathroom were well appointed. The bed was super comfortable with wonderful pillows. Hallways were always clean and quiet.||Do recommend the Hele Hele shuttle for transportation to & from airport. If you have a Disney Visa, you get a 10% discount in their gift shop. Lots of great shops, restaurants, and little grocery store to walk to right across street.

Bedrooms are nice, big and clean. Bathrooms are great/huge love that the toilet is in a different room than the bath/shower. The grounds are beautiful. Walk to the beach. Adult only pool is wonderful and quiet. Food on the other hand, was not great and expensive.
The location is fine if you plan on staying on the resort. Just know, if you explore the island you need a car.

Not Disney theme, but lots of experiences with Disney Characters.

A dreamy place to stay with kids, or without. The Disney is not in your face but sprinkled subtly throughout a tastefully crafted Hawaiian theme. The resort is beautiful — the decor, architecture and gardens. The food is also very good and surprisingly not extraordinarily expensive (but that may be because we are coming from WA where we are used to high prices). There are plenty of pools and hot tubs, and a lovely lazy river, but it’s not overwhelmingly huge. The water slides are super fun as well. The lagoon is so pretty and the water is clear and clean, perfect for swimming in. In short: this is an absolutely wonderful & gorgeous place to stay!

I love this hotel with all my heart. I’d like to have a celebration here because the location is EVERYTHING. I think it’s really nice because the resort is not too large and not small by any means. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS and has plenty to do and see. The food is delicious and always Disney quality. The pool and lazy river are very fun. The resort is in walking distance from some shops and you can easily rent a car from the hotel with no prior planning sometimes. The island is easily drivable in a day or two if you really see all the sights.

My whole family LOVED this place! From the family friendly room to the family friendly restaurants and every where in between! We went for the pools but loved the Luau! Done so well a great cast, good food and excellent setting. So much done perfectly for a family! A little pricey but if you want a perfect vacation in a beautiful and special location then give Disney a look. Also close enough to Honalulu and the Dole plantation to go shopping.

Aulani was everything I wished for. First of all it’s an amazing build and themed hotel by Joe Rhode and other people. I arrived early and my ocean view room was ready. The view from my balcony ( hotel room, not dvc) couldn’t be better. Beds are high from the floor, but super comfy! Very clean and well maintained. All the cast members where so friendly and welcoming, especially the girls at Hale Manu. I was there during the end of january storm day and felt super safe with al the attentive help from cm’s ( towels to stay as dry as possible from the nook bar to inside hotel). Character interaction was very good! Food at Ama Ama, The Nook, Ulu cafe, Makahiki all up to Disney standards. Chairs near swimming pool was difficult to get one in the shade, the wristband system works. One of the best Disney hotels I’ve ever been to
