Was too hungry to get a picture of the food. Amazing! My kids and I ordered pad thai, pad see ew, parang curry, and shrimp summer rolls. I also got a Thai coffee. We loved it all and have lots of leftovers. Really a great deal. Not spicy, so probably catering to tourists, BUT lots of flavor. Plenty of seating at the park here.

We were trying to eat at a different Thai place that ended up being closed and so we found Aunty Pon's on the map. It was so good, and the prices were comparable to the mainland. We got cashew chicken stir fry, summer rolls, and avocado curry. All we're great! We'd definitely seek it out next time we were in the area.

This tiny food truck in a community center makes really delicious Thai dishes with generous portions. I ordered Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Green Curry, and the Thai Basil Stir Fry. All were fantastic and I was amazed that such a tiny food truck was able to churn out great food so fast.
Service was friendly and the estimate for time to finish my food was accurate. Definitely worth a visit.
Covered and uncovered picnic tables available nearby and it's right next to a playground for small kids and a neighborhood skate park too.

I’m a total Thai food snob and this was amazing! I had the avocado curry with tofu, my husband had the Tom yum kai and my daughter had vegetable spring rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious. It had great flavor. The spice was right on. Very friendly service. You will be very happy if you detour here on your way into Volcano National Park.

Aunty Pon's serves delicious Thai food if you are fortunate to visit when they are open. The portions are huge and filling, and the service was excellent. I recommend calling ahead to check if they are open. There may also be a wait for the food especially during lunch time as the truck is quite small and it takes time to cook and prepare a lot of the meals. Overall I would still highly recommend a meal here!

The food was delicious! Our family (3 adults and a 3 year old) ordered Pad Thai, Pad Sew Ew, Massaman Curry (comes w/ rice) and Spring Rolls. It cost about the same as we'd pay at home (with exchange) but almost double the amount of food - it fed us for 2 dinners. I found more veggies in her dishes which I often find are an extra charge elsewhere, which was great. The area has picnic tables surrounded by lovely lush plants and trees and there's a playground which my 3-year old was super happy about. I would eat here again if there's another visit to the Big Island in my future - Aunty knows what she's doing!

Large portions and quick services! We ordered the curry, noodle and papaya salad that was more than enough to serve 4 hungry ladies after our crater hike. Probably the cheapest meal we had on the island. There are park benches and tables to eat on as well. No covering as it did start to sprinkle at the end of our meal.

Highly recommend!

We stopped by here early (3:50 pm) after a day of sightseeing at Volcano National Park. The woman who took our order was very friendly and helpful. Their dishes are normally mild but you can order medium spicy or hot. We ordered Pad Thai with chicken, Pad Sew Ew with shrimp , and Eggplant stir fry with chicken (which comes with a side of plain rice). The price of the dish depends on if you add tofu ($14), chicken ($15), or shrimp ($16). We waited in our car and our food was brought out to us.

The food was good but didn't have the complexity of flavors of our Thai local restaurants. The eggplant stir fry was surprising because we were expecting predominantly eggplant not eggplant and a mix of other vegetables. But overall it's a good value and I'd eat here again.
