I was heading elsewhere when I accidentally turned too soon and found myself at the driveway entrance of Bach"s. Having never been here, it peaked my interest, so I took the short drive in. You know that feeling of being in awe when you see something impressive? That's how I felt. Before I arrived at the greenhouses, I first drove past an incredible oasis garden full of all sorts of desert plants, cacti, and petrified wood "boulders". How could I have missed this place all these years? There's not a big area for parking, but luckily I was able to find a spot. I walked up to the main greenhouse warehouse (it was huge! and I believe there are 5 of these) and was greeted with a friendly "Hi. Welcome. How can I help you". After getting a brief, but very informative rundown of what Bach's was all about, I was left to browse and take in the hundreds of varieties of unique succulents, cacti, and beautiful Talevera pottery. The prices were very reasonable. After about an hour into my "detour", I left with a couple of flowering succulents, and a pretty Talevera pot that the staff kindly potted one of my plants in. Will definitely be back! Best wrong turn EVER!!

What can I say, I love these guys. They are helpful, kind, knowledgeable, ethical, and my dog loves them! I go here at least once a week to buy stock for my own online cactus business. Their prices are stellar. They always offer me a box and are happy to answer any questions I have.

This was a large nursery with many different types of cacti. Common and small cacti were reasonably priced, but some of the rarer and larger cacti were a little expensive. In addition, none of the many plants in the greenhouse had prices listed on the pots. You had to go to the cash register to find out the price. They have a private collection of large, healthy, and rare cacti that are not for sale but are cool to look at.

Christine gave us a tour of their grounds which contain a large variety of cactus. She was very helpful by explaining suggested varieties, sizes and locations for planting. If you are looking for cacti to add to your homes landscape, then Bach' Greenhouse is the place to go!

Run, don't walk if you are in the Tuscon area! This is an awesome cactus nursery. I walked away with 3 boxes of goodies...wish I had room for more! You MUST visit the collection house to see some stunning specimen plants.
They also have a huge variety of Mexican pottery at very good prices.

As always, Bach’s does not disappoint, especially if you want healthy succulents, cacti of many kinds (including mature Golden Barrels), and a wide array of Talevera pots, bugs, cats, coyotes and lizards. Bach’s also sells large pieces of petrified wood … which — due to its weight and mass — they will arrange to be delivered to your house. They even have pre-planted cacti and succulents of various kinds already nicely situated in one of their beautiful pots — ready for your patio or doorstep.

And the best part is that Bach’s prices are less than almost all other independent nurseries.

This place is amazing for any cactus you could want and some you didn't even know existed. Went there for an artichoke cactus and got a perfect one to take back to my wife in Florida. She needed one for her cactus/succulent collection and we had trouble finding a nice one. Thanks also to the friendly staff and they also gave me a carry box to easily take it with me.on the plane.
Will definitely stop by again to pick up another great plant.
