Went here as a family of 4. My husband got 2 flights to try all the beer, he said it was all amazing. I got a margarita and it was good. The food was incredible! I ate it so fast. We also got the cinnamon roll as dessert and it was amazing. We would definitely recommend. Just one thing to keep in mind that it isn’t the biggest place, so something to note.

This place was one of those unexpected gems. (Shish..don't tell anyone!) The caprese salad and peanut chicken naan were truly culinary delights! And the bartender (sorry we didn't get your name) really knows how to mix a mean old fashioned along with being entertaining while serving up beers. We will certainly be back later this week!

This is an absolute favorite on Tybee! The beer is amazing, food is amazing and people are amazing. I highly recommend the brisket quesadilla!! We’ve come back almost every week to try more stuff!

We ate lunch here! Staff were very welcoming. We got the brisket quesadilla and the smoked turkey sandwich and it was super good. My husband loved the beer! Small place. Only accessible by numerous steps, on second floor. Has off street and on street parking. Definitely worth checking out when on Tybee Island!

Nice brewery! Had three beers and a jumbo pretzel while here; the three beers being a golden lager, double IPA, and a Belgian Tripel. Every beer was solid but I wouldn’t quite give it five stars overall. My favorite being the Belgian Tripel. The pretzel was good and a nice compliment to the beer. Place definitely has a beach vibe, which I enjoy, and it feels like I’m back in Florida. Staff are very friendly and attentive, and the brewery itself has a good mojo. I’d come here again to hang out even if the beer is a step below my preferences.

This was some of the most immaculate food I have ever tasted, and that’s saying a lot because I love eating. The bruschetta was unique and delectable. The brisket quesadilla was a work of art. The staff is wonderful and the owner is great! I can’t recommend this place enough, you’re missing out if you don’t come.

It was a member of our party's birthday, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating!!! I got the pork BBQ sliders and they were quite good. I got one of the beers on tap and it was smooth and a great pairing with my meal.

The chef came out and talked to us and even surprised the birthday girl with a cinnamon roll dessert and a candle. One of the most welcoming experiences I have ever had in a restaurant and it was super fun.

We had just settled in after a long road trip to Tybee. On a recommendation we sought out the Back River Brew Pub. We walked in close to, but not unreasonably close to closing time. The staff was warm, inviting, and friendly. We ordered a couple of beers that sounded good and looked over the menu. The beers were really good and the menu got our appetites curious. We had the smoked tenderloin sandwich and a smoked turkey sandwich. They smoke all their own meats as well as brew their own beers.
The sandwiches were amazing! Especially the smoked tenderloin. So much so that we were back two days later for lunch. We had the Quesadilla that was excellent and Caprese salad like you have never seen or tasted before. I know you're thinking "it's just tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil" and you would be wrong. This was the best I and my wife have ever had. Then we tried to different beers from the night before and these were even better. An oyster stout that was as good or better than Guinness. And a lager that just makes you happy and smile contentedly and think "Damn that's a good beer". Hurry up and go, because this place is excellent. 5 stars all around!
