This community garden was created in 1995 and preserved in 1999 with the support of the Neighborhood Gardens Trust. It is also supported by PHS (Penn Horticultural Society), and is a seasonal meeting place for Philly Tree Tenders to gather supplies for the planting and maintenance of trees. The garden has some common areas planted with trees, bushes, grass and flowers. There are 23 individual garden plots, but there's a wait list. Priority is given to residents who live within 5 blocks. There are no restrooms, but there are benches and a few outdoor tables. Dogs are not allowed in the garden.
