We took the free tour.
Was so cool there. After that we had a tasting. The liquor is so good and I had to buy a bottle of bourbon.
We also met the legend Chuck himself and took a picture with him.

After watching Moonshiners since the first season, and coming from California, we couldn't drive through Culpeper and not stop!
The staff here are absolutely the best! We didn't have time to taste anything because we were just driving through. The girls were super friendly and very knowledgeable. They showed us around the distillery and even helped us figure out what products would be able to fly home. We were so glad we stopped!

Wonderful small distillery. Super friendly staff and their spirits are surprisingly delicious, particularly the bourbons. Nice shaded tasting area and open field with stage for kids to run around if needed. If you are visiting Lake Anna there is no excuse not to come. And the tour... Do it. These folks predate Prohibition.

Visited back in August of last year and traveled from South Carolina. Had an amazing time trying some flavors and taking the tour. Very highly recommend visiting this lovely facility.

We took the tour which is free and really enjoyed it. The lady giving the tour was so knowledgeable and friendly. The best part was meeting Chuck!!!. Such a down to earth guy and was so friendly and stopped to talk to us and take photos. The farm and the grounds are so beautiful.

Awesome and historic place to visit. Tour guide Dave knows his stuff and is funny. Love his rules for the container of whiskey. “No straws and no swimming.” The tasting is great also, have everything they produce there to try. Staff are super friendly and even recommend fun things to do locally. Will always stop and visit when I am in town.

We had a great visit! We enjoyed learning about the history of the still and distilling in the area as well as the efforts to maintain the tradition of distilling. The whiskey and bourbons were great to taste. Cheryl was a fantastic host. I highly recommend this as a stop!

Amazing day!!! What a fantastic place to go for an experience you never knew you needed. Try new products and enjoy the awesome atmosphere of this distillery! The people are top notch and even got to see and talk to Tim! Please go and see for yourself. I would give 10 stars if I could!
