I really wanted to love everything about this bakery, but there’s one thing that keeps me from giving it full marks—the guy at the checkout. He comes off as a bit of an arrogant prick, almost like he’s mad at the snow or just having a bad day every day. It’s such a contrast to the rest of the experience here.

The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the breakfast? Absolutely delicious. Everything else about this place hits the mark, but that one person makes it hard to fully enjoy. I’ll probably still come back because the food is that good, but I really hope they address the attitude issue—it would make such a big difference.

Loved this place. All the menu items looked delicious. We ordered the breakfast burrito, turkey club, chili, egg salad sandwich and panini sandwich. Great portions of food, fresh ingredients and my friends were raving about the fries. This restaurant reminds me of how Panera Bread started out back in the day. Fresh, delicious home cooked meals. (Unfortunately, Panera is not so good now.)

Waitstaff are super friendly. The interior decor is cozy and I loved seeing the boutique type items for sale. Btw grab a bag of ginger snap cookies. Yummy snack on our plane ride home.

First year in many years that we purchased pies and disliked all 3 pies. Something has changed with the recipes, no flavor in pumpkin pie- no taste of cinnamon and other pumpkin pie like flavors. No actual cherries in the cherry pie- almost like canned gel cherries were used- whole organic cherries were previously used in past pies. Lastly, pecan pie didn't have the custard like filling that it usually does.
The photos might be deceiving but the taste is not what we expected for $16/pie.
We not expect to buy pies from here again, and will not recommend to others.

This place makes the best, no really, the best bread. I buy the bread in the Treasure Valley at the Albertson's Marketplace. Reading the ingredient label is a real pleasure. You know why? I dont have to trip over large words that sound like they belong in a lab, not your stomach. Please keep up the great work and care you put into your product. I will continue to buy.

I should have read the reviews first. They all seem to echo the same thing - the staff is the problem. The menu on their website doesn't match the menu in the restaurant. Their staff is incompetent. I'm not sure if it's a language barrier or what but they cannot take simple instructions or orders. The manager is a piece of work. When we spoke with the manager regarding our issues he was completely rude and defensive. If this was my company this is not how I would want my company ran.

Great food! This place is spacious and has lots of room to dine in or sit outside on the patio. Gluten Free menu in a bakery is HUGE! Thanks Bigwood! Josh, from locally made Party Animal Vodka, said to get the Philly. He was right! Yum! We'll be back!

First time visiting, and the experience was awful. Took forever waiting in line to order and pay. We got a seat, and waited. After 45 minutes, I asked someone about our order. She said they were running about an hour on food delivery. No one told us that when we placed the order and paid. If they had, we would have walked out without eating. The person I asked got very snarky with me, said it was only 45 minutes since I ordered, it would be another 15 minutes. At that point, I asked to cancel the order, get a refund. She went back in the kitchen, and ironically, walked out with our order. The food was mediocre at best, nothing special. The server who brought the food was nasty, and basically threw the plates on the table at us without saying a word. We ate quickly, and left. Will never go back. $50. for two salads and went home and made a snack. Not sure why this place is ranked so high. The system for standing in line to order and pay, then wait at a table while the server walks around with your food, trying to find your number is a terrible system. It was loud, disorganized, over priced and not very welcoming. The kid working the register seemed a little lost. Everyone seemed very frazzled.

My boyfriend and I came here for lunch. We had the most wonderful server, Etienne. Her warm smile and cheerful attitude brightened up my day! She was so helpful and even recommended some of her favorite menu items.
Not only was she incredibly kind and welcoming, but she was also speedy and concise. It is clear that she cares about every single customer’s experience at Bigwood Bread.
Every restaurant should have a waitress like Etienne.
The food was great and the service we received by each member of the team was even better!
