My visit to 'Blue Barn' this Saturday was a delightful experience from start to finish. I was looking for a healthy lunch spot and was happy that I went there. I ordered the 'Spicy Tuna' salad. The greens were incredibly fresh and crisp, and the combination of a spicy tuna, salad leaves, freshly cut avocado and delicious dressing was perfectly balanced. I also appreciated the generous portion size. If you are looking for a healthy fresh tasty meal, you should definitely try it. They also have a great choice of sandwiches...

Very fresh tasty menu. Buffalo chicken sandwich was well seasoned, with perky slaw. The spicy wild ahi tuna tartare salad was fresh and well balanced. Even the picky youngster gave the grilled cheese a thumbs up! Hazy IPA was excellent brew.

It’s a nice sandwich place. The name was nice that why I had a meal here. It seemed pretty popular. The sandwiches and my tomato basil soup were okay. It was expensive for sandwiches Rating - 3 Location - 5 Kids friendly - 4

Wished I had seen the menu before actually arriving and ordering. I felt when I was looking at the menu I was being rushed. I say this because the cashier had asked if I'm ready to order and clearly you could tell I was reading the menu and had been there literally 5 min. When I mean reading, it was written in a font that wasn't easy to read and so many items inside one sandwich. Then I was asked again if I was ready to order. Nothing like feeling rushed and then you just order a sandwich you hope is good. I waited awhile for the sandwich. Which was ironic since I was basically feeling rushed to order by the cashier as she stood there and stared at me. Unfortunately, what they have as a BLT was not a good sandwich. If I had time to actually read the whole menu. I would have discarded a few items. Whatever it was that tasted tangy was not a pleasant flavor and did not go well with the other items especially the feta & bacon. Everything was sliding all over and items kept falling out and then it was slightly soggy. Glad I was able to try something, but I will never eat there again. Not for everyone.

While I agree with other reviewers that The food is expensive, I believe the price is commensurate with the quality. Barn BLT is hands down the best BLT I’ve ever eaten, and they have a steak sandwich that’s delicious. The salads are too $$ for me, but then again, I’m not the biggest fan of salad in general, and and happiest with iceberg lettuce covered with blue cheese dressing, lol. I do like the spicy tuna salad, but prefer to order a side of the spicy tuna itself, then eat it with chips. The service is fine;, as is the atmosphere, but I always get it to go.

I ordered a Buddha sandwich to go. It was delicious! The bread and veggies were really fresh, and there was a generous portion of goat cheese, veggies, and hummus. Way better than fast food and the same price.

Blue Barn remains my favorite Bay Area salad chain. The summer seasonal heirloom salad was amazing. My friend liked the sandwich as well - both were very filling, with a great variety of textures and tastes! On the pricier side (my salad was somewhere between $15-18 post-tax), but well worth it. Nice mix of outdoor and indoor seating at this location

Down in Corta Madera kickin dirt clods and pokin around minding my own business when the Hansen twins... Sally and Sue threw some rocks at me. They never could throw very good, but that Sally has an arm! It's a good thing her aim was off. I told them if they'd be nice I'd pop for lunch at the Blue Barn Restaurant, and that was it. The lunch was Amazing 5 stars all the way! ☆☆☆☆☆
