Boudin SF in Fremont is a pleasant place with quick service, offering the same bread and flavors as in San Francisco. The facilities are clean, and the service is friendly. I stopped by for a clam chowder, and as always, it was delicious and affordable. I highly recommend the bread here; it’s very good.

Love this Boudin restaurant! The location is convenient, located in central Fremont. Staff is very friendly and check out is quick. Food quality is consistent and their signature claim chowder served hot in the bread bowl is much better than the canned soup or from Costco. The restaurant is really clean and seats are comfortable. The dining experience is excellent!

I went to Boudin to pick up takeout for my wife, son, and myself. We ordered a Turkey Cranberry Sandwich, a Turkey & Havarti Cheese Sandwich, a grilled cheese, and a bowl of tomato soup. The total came to $50, including a $5 tip.

The quality of the food was extremely disappointing. The Turkey Cranberry Sandwich had barely half a teaspoon of cranberry sauce and a tiny amount of turkey, making it completely bland. The Turkey & Havarti Sandwich was worse—a small amount of turkey, a paper-thin slice of Havarti, a couple of wilted tomato slices, a little lettuce, and a smear of mayonnaise, all served on an oversized sourdough roll that overpowered everything. The grilled cheese was uninspired, though the tomato soup was decent.

Overall, my family and I felt completely ripped off. The food was overpriced and of very poor proportions and quality. This is nothing like the Boudin’s I remember from years ago. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Title: "A Delightful Dining Experience at Boudin SF, Fremont!"

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Boudin SF in Fremont, California, and I was not disappointed. The Boudin brand has a long history of satisfying customers with its delicious San Francisco-style bread, and this branch in Fremont continues to uphold that tradition, offering a diverse menu that pleases the palate in the most unexpected ways.

The first item I chose from the menu was the BBQ Chicken Salad. The salad was a brilliant medley of flavors - the smoky, juicy BBQ chicken beautifully contrasted with the crispness of the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumbers. The sweet corn and black beans added an excellent depth to the overall taste, while the BBQ ranch dressing and crispy tortilla strips lent a delightful crunchiness that was simply irresistible. The salad was fresh, well-balanced, and big on flavor, making it a must-try for salad lovers!

Next, I sampled the Jalapeño Cheddar Burger. This was no ordinary burger; it was a taste explosion in every bite! The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and packed with flavors, beautifully complemented by the sharp cheddar and the mild heat from the jalapeños. The bun, true to Boudin's reputation, was fresh, soft, and wonderfully aromatic. The burger was served with a side of crispy fries, which were a perfect addition to the hearty burger.

The restaurant staff were friendly, attentive, and quick with their service, making the entire dining experience a real joy. The atmosphere of Boudin SF was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual lunches and family dinners.

In summary, if you're looking for a place that serves excellent food in a great atmosphere, Boudin SF in Fremont should be on your list. The BBQ Chicken Salad and Jalapeño Cheddar Burger, in particular, were standouts and well worth a try. It's not just about the food, though. It's the service, the ambiance, and the overall experience that make Boudin SF truly shine. I'm eagerly looking forward to my next visit!

Good food and ambience. The fish shaped sourdough bread with kids meal is a good idea but was quite hard. That could've been better. But rest of the food, including the butternut squash soup, was great so can't complain. Helpful, friendly staff.

Husband placed an order for French Dip Deluxe and the worker misheard and gave us a regular French dip. When I went in to tell them they messed up, they denied and even made up that my husband asked what is on the regular French dip-he knows me and knows I would not want a sandwich with just meat and bread. I told her that is incorrect, and she continued to lie and say no that's what happened. Terrible.

Do yourself a favor. Do not eat at the Boudin SF eatery located at 3121 Mowry Ave, Fremont, CA.

I tried to have a simple meal with my wife on September 27, 2024 at 7:40 PM. We received the worst customer service and received the wrong meal. My wife ordered a salad. No salad was served. I ordered a soup. No soup was served, though I paid for these items. I felt "ripped off". I paid for items that were not delivered.

When I brought this matter to the attention of the manager ( Who refused to give me his name. The manager looked to be a male in early 20's and had black hair.) My complaint was not taken seriously. He rapidly gave me some of my money back.

I did not believe the manager or any of the staff care about customer service, food quality or simple business practices.

I will never eat at this place again. I will make sure to tell all my friends in the community of Fremont and Newark not to eat at this eatery since they have terrible customer service and think "ripping customers off" is funny.

As I said, spare yourself from being ripped off and do not go to this place for a meal.

None of the indoor tables were clean and their was an employee just walking around trying to look busy. Our order got messed up on our french dip, they tried to make it right, but it just wasn't the best. They forgot my grandson's fish bread that was supposed to come with his soup. We had to ask for it. The salad and cheesey bread were both amazing. I love Boudin bread. We'll give a cafe another try.
