I had the pleasure of participating in Burns Blossom Farms CSA, which all though you couldn't tell, I think this was their first time offering a CSA. It is clear that Kyle and Mel are very passionate about providing access to high quality food. Their CSA had a fun spin compared to others I have participated in before. Each week, you got a recipe that used a variety of the veggies from that week. As someone who doesn't always know what to do with everything in my CSA, this was so helpful and appreciated. Another thing I loved, is that in their weekly emails they also included information about their family and farm. It was fun getting to know them a bit, learn and support a local farm. And as much as I loved all these small touches, their food also is so dang good. You can taste the difference in it and I felt so lucky to have a fridge full of their produce!

I highly recommend participating in their CSA and making sure you find them at the 3 different farmers markets in Chico. Don't miss the arugula if they have it! 🙂
