I am thrilled to be able to go to a farmers market on Wednesdays! It’s such a great break in the week to stop by, see smiling and happy people, and get the freshest produce and the most delicious prepared foods-all from local farmers and vendors. I’m so grateful to have the Old Town Newhall Farmers Market on Saturdays, and now to have the Canyon Country Farmers Market on Wednesdays-with a combination of new vendors and farmers, gets me through the entire week with honest food in a fantastic location at the Canyon Country Community Center. And bringing home the freshest flowers in Santa Clarita that lasts for weeks is always a special treat!

Was happy to see a farmers market, until I saw the prices. $9 for a dozen organic eggs? Fish monger had beautiful seafood. Shrimp looked awesome, but $30-$35 per pound? I can buy it off the dock for less than that for similar quality. My budget doesn't allow for such expensive items. Still, glad it is available for those that can afford the luxury.

Updated 11-06-22: Will certainly stop buy and chat! Thanks for the invite. Supermarket eggs are barely passable and always question the nutritional value. I never purchase them.

I have been there couple times. Nice stroll, clean with nice playground and benches. My son tried the Watermelon juice and churros with Caramel. It was hot, the juice was refreshing and perfect. We all enjoyed it very much. My oldest tried the Cubano Sandwich. It was a hit. I tried the peach cobbler from Sisi cakes. I love it. Not overly sweet. You can taste the fruit. It was delicious. I went back and ordered the same thing twice. I recommend that you make time to stop there, you will not be disappointed and plus you are supporting local businesses. Win-win.

I stopped in to get fresh berries and eggs and found a vendor selling bbq spare ribs. Amazing ribs. Think it was called Nia and Jags. The berries and eggs from the farmers were amazing as usual too.

You can tell SCV doesn't have a connection to agriculture lol BUT this place has all the bones needed to turn that around. The more people coming out the better it'll get. Always a good time going at night you can see the effort! Thanks! Hopefully we will start to see some actual LA farmers!

It really depends on what you are looking for, very few fruits or vegetables. However, if you are looking for a better option for dinner than fast food this is the place for you.
