I went by Carver's Market. Off the top, good experience, and will make it a habit. A nice well stocked community market. It was well lit, clean, good selection, talked to 4 of the staff. I'm old school. I speak to people without having a reason. They spoke to customers and it didn't feel as though they were doing so because it is required.

I recently had the privilege of visiting Carver Jones Market, a minority-owned grocery store located in Fairfield, Alabama. I was highly impressed with the establishment.

The store is very well-stocked, and both the exterior and interior are meticulously maintained. They even have a sanitizing station for their shopping carts, demonstrating their commitment to hygiene. There will also be an in-store pharmacy coming in the near future.

I had the opportunity to engage in a conversation with the owner, James Harris, who shared his vision of providing fresh produce and groceries to underserved communities, thereby enhancing the overall well-being of local residents.

In addition to this, on Tuesdays, he offers a 10% discount to senior citizens, military personnel/ first responders, and Miles College students.

Great store! Extremely clean! Everybody is so nice and helpful. Never get a dirty basket. They run all of them through a cleaning system. Bonus… the owners are present daily and take your groceries to car!

I love the great deals and the staff is very friendly and the store is so clean and organized and it's great to see a black owned grocery store in the heart of Fairfield. Before this store Fairfield was going down and the all these abandon properties and yards not kept up ..City of Fairfield seemed hopeless until this store came to Fairfield..It really brought life to the city..So greatful for the Carver &Jones grocery store!!!

My shopping experience at Carver Jones was absolutely wonderful. This is one of the cleanest and most organized grocery stores I think I’ve ever walked in. Employees were polite. They had all of the essentials and I was happy to see a pharmacy inside.
