I have been coming here since they opened and I have always received excellent service! Shira and the team always make it a great experience. They also pack the protein too! Definitely recommend! Be aware, can get very busy at times, but the crew works fast!

Terrible portions. If I’m paying $20 dollars for a bowl I’m expecting them to fill it up. And they have before but it’s never consistent. Sometimes they put very little rice and tons of veggies to make it look full or tons of sauce which makes it to saucy. I’ve only had one bowl that was perfectly made.

My Family LOVES Cava, but we already detest this location in particular. My advice if you're reading this is to take a few minutes to read the reviews over the past few weeks - since they opened this location. They all follow a very similar, very specific pattern. A pattern that in my family's two visits here, has been our experience.

The food continues to be great. The service is among the worst we've experienced in North County. In addition to being unsanitary, the staff is rude, and simply lies when confronted with a negative customer experience. They take no responsibility or ownership of their mistakes and instead blame outside factors.

Waiting for a pickup order for almost an hour seems to be par for the course, and was the experience of other customers, as we all sat there and jointly vented about the negative experience. Yes, this happened in both of our visits.

It's been a over decade since I left a negative review on any platform. The only aspect that keeps this from being 1 star review across the board is the fact that the food was still really good. Such a shame. But as other reviewers said, other eateries in the area are more deserving of the business.

I'm highly impressed! First time ever trying Cava and I love it! Came here just after 9 since the line was almost to the door at 7pm. Respectfully so too since today was their grand opening. 9pm, and they had everything in stock. I could get whatever I wanted without hesitation of whether or not something was out for the night! I ordered the Steak and Harissa bowl with saffron rice instead of brown. Amazing flavor. And the portion sizes!!! THANK YOU! An actual proper meal with actual filling portion sizes. Food was awesome, workers were happy, place was phenomenally clean. I'll be back soon!

I had the pleasure of being served by one of the friendliest and most attentive servers I've ever encountered. She was knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent recommendations, and consistently checked in to ensure everything was to my liking. Her welcoming demeanor truly made my dining experience exceptional. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give her ten stars if I could! I’m not sure if I’m spelling her name right but it was Shara or Shera. She was working on January 24th around 2pm. I’m not from the area but I’ll definitely return to this location!

I came in February 2nd. I’m a regular cava lover. But this was my first time at the San Marcos. I have quite a few dietary restrictions and a lot of the time when I go out people are so rude about it. When I went to cava San Marcos manager shira was so kind and helpful when I asked specific questions about the new items. I would recommend this location to anyone looking to try cava and hopefully you get the privilege of being helped by manager shira. Alex, the guy on the register was also extremely helpful and sweet.

I don’t think I have ever given a one star. But it took 20 minutes at 3:00 PM on a Tuesday to go through the line. Jessica couldn’t be bothered to make eye contact with one of us on the other side of the glass while she angrily threw food in to bowls and gave off a clear vibe of I hate my job. She even took time to share it with some of her coworkers how she was going to “lose it”. Meanwhile the cross contamination of foods in the bins made me nervous and I hope I am okay after I eat. There does not seem to be a shift lead or supervisor to keep anyone on track or support them and it shows. It’s a shame because the food was amazing and I work down the street but I don’t think I will be back when it took my entire lunch break to get my food and the energy is toxic

This location just opened and obviously was very busy. I did a mobile order that should have been ready at 1:15-I walked out at 2:05; well after most of the clients who walked in to order were already eating. Unfortunately the young lady at the helm-Shakir I believe was her name, not only incredibly rude but completely incapable- she handled cash then grabbed food with her bare hands, completely ignored the people waiting for mobile orders. Definitely a complete shame because everyone else in that restaurant had a sense of urgency. She was unwilling to assist or make things right and called out another manager who was FANTASTIC and rectified the situation within minutes. That young lady is a horrible representation of your business.
