Excited to stop by to check out Cayucos Sausage Co. in Cayucos ? We bought the Tri-tip sandwich it was listed as the daily special! We also bought a couple of the homemade sausages Irish & jalapeño we haven’t eaten them yet. They also make sandwiches, ones that you can choose the type of bread, meat, cheese and toppings ?and any special instructions. Maybe you prefer to get you bread or roll toasted?! The tri tip was so tender and tasty, it had a chipotle spread on it that added a nice combo with the roll. I would definitely come back and order any of the sandwiches! Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Had a wonderful experience.
I got the pork roast sandwich - above avg.
My wife got the tri-tip sandwich - above avg.

Loved them both, but the tri-tip took this one. Had a sweet smokies flavor.. We ate them up so fast we forgot to take pictures. my wife and I will be coming back.

This was a fun lunch! My husband and I stopped in this afternoon and we both really enjoyed our sausage sandwhiches. I got the Coastle Italian Sausage and my husband got the Jalapeño Chipotle Sausage, both were delicious. We got to pick our Sausage, then they made the sandwhich with a buttered French Roll, Garlic Mayo, Red Onions, and Mustard. It was so good! The sandwich does take 20min to prepare (they warn you prior to ordering because the sausage does take some time to cook), but it was so worth the wait to enjoy a house-made, fresh Sausage. The store also smelled delicious! Must try!

We ordered tri tips, burger patties and two kinds of salad for Fourth of July for our crowd after hearing raves from our neighbors here in Cayucos. We were not disappointed! The quality and the service cannot be beat!

They've been in their new location on Main St. for the last 10 months. For previous 18 years they were located behind the grocery store. Call ahead for sausage orders, or to find out what is on hand. Also remember that they make sandwiches. Great little hidden gem, that is now easier than ever to find. Give them a try.
