The Cheese Store & More is a wonderland of Italian cheeses and specialties. Also included are some Polish and Slovak foods that, too, are germane to the Hazleton culinary experience. It's the "and more" part that really impressed me. Among the many offerings are ravioli, pirohy, kolbasy, pasta sauce including holiday/seasonal favorite Easter Pie/pizza rustica. Regarding pasta sauce, I bought the Joe Maddon variety - he's a son of Hazleton, a MLB manager and he, along with his family, is/are significant supporters of the city. It's hard to make your way through this store without adding more to your cart. This store is a treasure both during the holidays and throughout the year. The staff is friendly, welcoming and ready to assist in any way. Highly recommend a visit!

Unfortunately for the first time I got a bad batch of chicken fingers. Brought 10 pounds of them and for some reason they had a bad after taste on them. People at my party asked why they had a poor taste too them. It looked like the chicken was cooked but the breading was bad. Whatever it was, I had to throw almost all of them away. At 110 bucks I didn't mine the price, but this is the first time I had any problems with anything there. I won't be getting any chicken fingers from there anytime soon.

To start off let me say. I come from the NY metro area. The store is set up pretty nice and all were friendly. A bit pricey for what they have. My issue was with the Easter Pie I purchased. $22.50 for a half. When I got home I was quick to try it. First thing was a strong smell of eggs. Yes I am aware that there are eggs in it! I cut off a piece and it kinda fell apart very dry. This consisted of mostly ham and pepperoni. Noting of so called premium Italian cold cuts. When you charge this kind of money there should be premium items in there. The lady at the register told me this was the best around. Well I didn't think so. The store in it self is clean and decently set up. I will go back for other items. But never for the Easter Pie
