It's a nice little convenient store that has some souvenir hoodies, shirts and other trinkets. I was also able to get some basic supplies like bug spray and a lighter. It also has a winter selection of hats, mittens and firestarter stuff.

I've been visiting this store since 1990 (granted at that time under previous ownership), but Dennis and Gail are gems. Have common sense when in their business, and you'll get nothing but respect.

Great ice cream (kid approved), necessities for your camp, and Cherry Springs souvenirs. In a great place between Coudersport and Galeton. Will always visit!

I love this store, being so close to the starfield, which I never knew about until late September 2020. I am only in Potter County a few times a year. I always have a nice experience with the place. They had a beloved doggie named Sadie who passed in June 2023. It was very hard on them to lose Sadie. I hope to get back up to Potter County sometime this year. I wish I had a place there. The women at the counter is VERY rude to customers and condescending. I hope the store owner is aware of how incredibly rude this women is and she is there often if not every time I have gone. For context there is no reason to talk to customers who are BUYING things. My husband was talking to the gentlemen and decided to get ice cream when he was walking over to me (asking him which shirt to buy) the lady interrupts and told him he needs to go outside until he’s done with his ice cream. I understand policies and asking customers with families to eat outside but not an adult who .. had the wallet. Congrats, you lost hundreds of dollars if not more from the third negative encounter!

This place was super close and convenient!! They have absolutely EVERYTHING you might need. Stuff you forget to pack, stuff you run out of… and a HUGE selection of Cherry Springs clothing designed wonderfully by the owner herself!
Gail was so helpful and informative. And just all around nice person! Her husband and pup were pretty great too! All around great people!

For starters, the store opens at 9:00 a.m., NOT 8:00 a.m. and credit & debit cards ARE accepted.

We went to the store at 8 a.m., an hour before they opened, based on the misinformation found on Google. Yet, the very pleasant owner, Dennis (and his friendly dog) were kind enough to allow us in. This store has EVERYTHING: Gas, ice, firewood, fire starters, hooded warm jackets, snacks, eggs, Spam…you name it! Conveniently located just a mile from Cherry Springs State Park, this store is worth a visit!

I first came across this little gem around 2009 as I was driving with a friend and we saw the gas station oasis in the forest. We were nearly out of fuel, so it was a welcome sight - and the ice cream didn't hurt, either!

Years later, that trip inspired me to visit again to camp nearby, and now, for the past few years, we try to do a couple days each summer at Cherry Springs & Patterson State Park. I love little camping/general stores like this and always look forward to visiting Keener's during our yearly trip. They have everything you could need at decent prices, along with some local souvenirs, and the owners are super friendly! Plus, you can't beat the convenience if you're staying in the area. We always at least get some ice cream and sit on the porch swing for a bit. Our trip is next week, and I can't wait to stop by again!

We Stopped here for gas after the Woodsman Festival. They have E0/90 dispensed out of a classic, old time pump with mechanical counters. Wow!
Great location in the woods in a county with very few gas opportunities. If you’re on a bike make note of this place. Wonderful riding through the miles of forests…
