The place itself is adorable! Very cozy feeling. I have yet to try the pastries which look absolutely delicious!!! Ive had lattes and teas and they were good. I had tried food for the 1st time. The soup was very watery in my opinion, ai wasn’t a fan at all. The grilled cheese was delicious, the only issue was I asked for cheddar instead of American but unfortunately thats did not happen. I didn’t complain about it, I ate it then had to leave for an appointment. I will definitely be back to try the pastries.

The food is really fantastic. I’m pretty picky about eggs but this place makes everything so well I would happily eat them daily. The breakfast burrito is especially good, especially with the smoky and spicy chipotle sour cream. Plenty of options for vegetarians. There’s also the opportunity to grab some stellar cheese and chocolate while you’re there.

This place has been here for years. The food is AMAZING hands down. You will end up smelling like burnt breakfast food though. Still worth it for the food though. They also sell baked goods to go. Highly recommend the ham and cheese croissant, so buttery and so delicious. Prices are higher than you would pay at Dunkin down the street but you get what you pay for.
The staff is absolutely awesome and will try and work with you.
They also have an electric car charger.

They worked on my cake for my wedding. They had also made a sandwich platter for me and my bridesmaids the morning of, while we got ready. The food was delicious and the cake was such a unique flavor. It was a ginger pear flavor and the icing was amazing. The cake was beautiful. Their staff was very helpful and followed up on their order with me. They also gave us a tasting of their carrot cake when we visited because it was not given in our tasting sampler and we were interested in it. Made it much easier to make our choice!

2 years ago this was our favorite place, traveling 40 minutes to get here was a treat. Now the coffee is still good but the bakery is not enticing at all. It used be hard to decide and not take too many. But now it’s hard to even find something appealing. I heard the baker isn’t there anymore. The dessert cases used to be double in size. Now it’s equivalent to a regular supermarket quality.

Coffee house is the name and they do not specialize in coffee (no pour overs, no french presses and no single origins). It should be more appropriately named “Cocoon Cafe”. I would have given it 4 or 5 stars if it was a cafe. Sandwiches and breakfast bowl along with pastries, breads & desserts are all great! Music and atmosphere makes this one of our go-to cafes in Lake Wallenpaupack (I just don’t get coffee) : (
