I don’t know what happened to the people that gave bad reviews here but at least when we visited today it was outstanding all the way. There were 6 people in front of us but once ordered and ware given a flag for the table, we waited less than 5min for our coffees and maybe another 5 for the food. We had the avocado toast and a BLT. Both awesome and super tasty. The bacon must have been the Kobe equivalent. Will definitely come back!

Collab Caffe is a hidden gem in Wailua! Their green tea matcha is excellent—smooth, rich, and not too sweet. I also loved that they offer a variety of dairy-free milk options, which is perfect for those with dietary preferences.

The gluten-free egg sandwich with bacon was absolutely perfect—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, the quality and taste make it worth it. I’d definitely come back again!

We were happy to find Collab Cafe after our original brunch plans were unexpectedly closed. The interior is very cute and they were roasting coffee right there, which was fun to watch. We ordered some toasts and coffee, then sat outside. Outside seating is clean but the tables are a bit wobbly so I was worried my coffee would fall over! Luckily it did not. The toasts were both very delicious. The macadamia pesto toast was a revelation, way above expectations. The mushroom toast also impressed us. Drinks were fine but nothing special.

We visited on a Sunday, about an hour and a half before closing, and the coffee shop was bustling. Seating is limited, with a few tables both inside and outside. They offer a special weekend brunch menu in addition to their regular menu. We loved the coffee, but the strawberry coconut ice cream was a letdown; the vanilla coconut ice cream was much better. All their ice creams are coconut-based, which is great if you're a fan. However, service was a bit slow—our coffee took 20 minutes, and the food arrived after 30 minutes, which is why I’m deducting a star. The food was tasty and above average for Hawaiian standards. For a scoop of ice cream, two coffees, and three sandwiches, the bill was around $80. Not cheap, but fairly reasonable for Hawaii. Lots of free parking.

The MOST delicious gluten-free bread! Mamaki chai was also wonderful and well spiced. My husband ordered a medium-poached egg and it came out perfect. The taro & sweet potato hash was a little dry. Friendly service, lots of parking. Limited seating indoors and covered outdoors. Note the surcharge listed at the bottom of the menu.
