This College of Horticulture, GKVK, Bengaluru has a rare indigenous and exotic Underutilized Fruits Garden also recognised as Bioversity International Genetic Diversity Park with more than hundred extinct fruit crops such as Mangosteen, Avocado, Red Jackfruit, Rambutan, Egg fruit, Aonla, water apple and different species of berries etc. This garden also supplying grafted plants from well maintained nursery to public. April to June every year is ideal to visit as tourists as most of trees bear fruits. This park is needed to be promoted inder Agri-Tourism with Government grants. At present, there is no fees charged for visitors.
