Nice commissary. Great selection on produce. Lots of macadamia products. There was plenty of parking. Employees were very helpful. Nice selection of sushi as well.

clerk assist and finding my 94 year-old husband who was shopping here. Very friendly clerks very helpful appreciate the kindness. Oh don’t worry don’t think so. Why do you can’t go and do that go in and do that? What did you buy anyway but that OK do you want me to go do it

Freezer section has a lot of wear and tear where you can see some weird brown stuff on the sides of the doors and lots of water leaking. Definitely didn’t feel super confident getting things from the fridge and freezer section. Overall everything else is good.

Some items were limited such as produce, but I found that the overall selection of store items were reasonable. The prices weren’t to bad and I was in and out fairly quickly.

This is now a bagless facility but that's not why I'm giving it two stars no, two stars because we are paying inflated prices at a DOD commissary all while the frozen goods are stored at "above freezing" temperatures, yet leak condensation onto the products and floor. This is getting two stars because I spent $5.97 on a few ounces of blackberries just to find out that the middle of the pack was completely covered in mold. Now I hear you, I should have cracked open the box and checked the berries myself, but let me tell you these eyes probably wouldn't have noticed because the store is soaked in a yellow light you'd only find if you had fallen into a liminal space, and were now trapped in a place that thought it a good idea to stock goods in the center of already narrow isles. One more thing if you get the 360 piece forks, knives, and spoons disposable cutlery sets in the box open it before leaving the store because you find that it has no spoons, just something to look out for.

We love this commissary and it’s very convenient for us. My husband is retired and we live in Hawaii permanently. Unfortunately, I do have an issue with the produce. More and more often I come home and open a prepackaged item (i.e. cherry tomatoes, beans, etc) only to find them inedible. Today I ended up not buying many some items on my list because they didn’t look good. I ended up throwing out tomatoes, parsley and cilantro.
Some time ago, an employee told us they weren’t allowed to throw anything away. I’ve decided to buy our produce from Safeway in the future.
Everything else, including and the staff, are amazing.
