Great food, beer and spirits. We recommend the Brisket pizza, forgot the name. My fish and chips were good. Jessica our beer and food bartender and Haley our whiskey flight bartender were both friendly and helpful. We bought some rye whiskey to take back to our rental at New River Trail Cabins. We walked. This place really has gone down hill. The service is so bad. The servers spend their time on their phones at their station. I had to ask for a menu, the table was not clean, I got my food, but had to flag down a server for silverware, and had to ask for the check at the end. The servers never came around to ask how the food was, which my wings (which is why I came) were dry, my friends brisket platter was bland and the chips were stale. Which is a bummer cause this used to be my favorite place in Galax. I no longer recommend it.

First time here, everyone was so nice especially Jess our server. I got a pizza, the beer was ok, but we live in a craft beer city so we are a bit snobbish about beer. What was really cool is this place is a distillery as well. After our meal we did a spirit tasting with Haley which was very nice and we bought a bottle of the Rye to take back to the cabin. This is a fairly large place with indoor and outdoor seating. Wide variety of menu items to choose from.

We shared some smoked wings & then husband had The Oinker (salad), I had the shrimp tacos, & kiddo had the cheese pizza. All were great--food was fresh & well prepared! Of course, we had a couple house brewed beers, which were also fabulous. Server was attentive and very sweet--gave us solid recommendations as well.

Stopped in here years ago, but I always talk about how delicious the food was and the great beer selection. I'm always looking for a chance to make it back!! The staff was so friendly and I loved watching the kitchen staff prepare the food.

Edit: After several years, we were able to make it back! It was amazing to see how much they expanded over the years. Unfortunately, we were both full from an unplanned stop a bit before, but we did manage to share a pizza and have a beer, we were not disappointed!

Nice old town atmosphere with character. I arrived before the band in a Friday night. Several good menue choices.
Started with the fried brussel sprouts with an outstanding smoked honey aioli.
I moved onto the Galax Country Club sandwich with rub pub chips. Fresh and good.
I finished with a warm brownie drizzled with caramel and chocolate.
For take out, a Space Jam pizza.
A Black cherry cola was the perfect drink!
Service was prompt and friendly.
Yes, I would recommend this place.

Our family went in on a Sunday afternoon. The place was packed. We were seated promptly. A server checked in quickly. Our food arrived as soon as it was prepared. All the servers were mvoing fast, working hard, and the food was delicious.

Great beer and a very tasty pizza. They have a nice outdoor area so you can bring your dog.
The staff was super friendly and attentive!
