I called the other day to ask a simple question how much they would charge to plant one tree I wanted to buy a mature tree in at least a 36 inch box which I’m finding out is going to cost at least $500 and wanted to get a price from them to purchase that tree and plant it They told me that they don’t do that because it’s not worth their time and that I will never find a landscaper to do that because plenty one tree is not cost-effective and I asked again, “no one will that hu” and she replied yup no one…. Long story short, I found three other landscapers in the area that would be happy to plant one tree. The one I decided to go with is Western willows Landscapping. They also have a very competitive pricing sheet per tree per size of the tree, and the owner was super professional and great to work with I would highly recommend Wesley at western willows Landscapping.

Darcie and crew did a drought-tolerant makeover on my front yard last summer, and it's given me joy every day since then. Her extensive knowledge of plants and her attention to detail ensured that the yard was beautiful in all seasons. One of my neighbors commented that she loved seeing my yard because she knew there would always be pops of color even in December.

This month I had Darcie transform my back yard. I wanted a softer look there, and hoped for something low-maintenance yet still beautiful. Custom Plantings is simply THE BEST! When looking to replace my front lawn with a drought-friendly garden, I scoured the portfolios of landscapers all over the region. Darcie was one of the very few who could provide what I was looking for: a gorgeous landscaping design that emphasized the greenery and flowers, not just rocks and hardscaping like other landscapers do.

From design, to selecting plants, to execution, Darcie's work is perfection. She went the extra mile in ensuring that all the weeds and Bermuda grass were gone before the installation (a lengthy process), and she made sure that every detail was to my satisfaction. When selecting plants, I gave her a general idea of the colors and aesthetic that I was looking for, and then she invited me to a walk-through at the nursery so that she could ensure 100% of the selected plants were ones that I liked. She is very direct, but that's fine, because she is the expert and really knows her stuff!

I couldn't be happier with her transformation of my front yard (which looks even better in-person), and I'm excited for the greenery and florals to spread their color even further. Not only did she deliver the front yard of my dreams, but she managed to stay under-budget. SO happy to have had the chance to work with Darcie and Custom Plantings!

We just had a backyard finished by Darcie and wow! When we originally had our backyard remodeled the plants and foliage that was put in the backyard almost all died - my backyard gets super hot. Darcie and her awesome crew replanted the yard with drought tolerant and heat resistant plants and trees. She even kept in mind my modern style which was important too. I also appreciated her and her crews attention to detail. The plants we spaced evenly and laid out with perfect symmetry and the yard was cleaned up nicely. Custom Plantings is worth the wait and her pricing was spot on. Our backyard looks like a resort.

Update: It's been three years and we still love our landscaping by Darcie. My palm and desert landscape still look amazing and has matured very well. I have virtually no yard care in my yard and around my pool -- it makes me so happy. Darcie even came out a year later to stake a palm that uprooted a bit and now it's bigger than the others.
