I had gotten both the flu and Covid simultaneously and was prescribed the new Covid medication- Paxlovid. But it would have cost about $400 with insurance (and about $700 without insurance). Although they didn’t know it, I would have been forced to forgo the medication altogether without their help. Before I even had to ask, the team at this CVS pharmacy immediately looked up discounts and knew all about the history of this product and why the pricing was so high. They then went then next step and found a discount program through the medication website, to try for a significant price reduction. I signed up for it, and was immediately told my medication was now free! I was so happy. Thank you to that team. And I am feeling better already.
