Thus far, I’ve only had things off the “provisions” part of the menu, but it’s been good. Interestingly, the chicken salad is made with scallions, lime, and jalapeños. The larger menu sounds good, though I haven’t tried it yet. There are vegetarian and gluten free options including GF bread for sandwiches. There was a bit of a wait to order. The ceilings here are high with little to dampen the sound so it feels pretty loud when it’s reasonably crowded. Theres a very nice coffee bar set-up. The staff were polite and kept the place very clean.

It's not bad. I think this is a perfect spot for a coffee shop to work in. The atmosphere is great and has a coffee bar with outlets. The only thing is I had the grilled cheese with tomato soup that was a bit pricey for what I got.

Had the opportunity to stop in for a quick breakfast. I got the Taylor ham, egg, cheese, and potato sandwich. I was able to find a seat while I waited for my food. The ambiance is very clean, well lit, and welcoming. After just a couple minutes my sandwich arrived and was very fresh. The bread stood out and all the other ingredients of the sandwich were great! It tasted really good and somehow wasn't that messy. Definitely much better than any food truck will serve up for breakfast. Looking forward to stopping by again in the future.

Glad when new options come to Jersey City and in particular the Powerhouse Arts district but i feel like it didn't hit the hype. Was the food tasty? yes. Was the service good? well it was really slow but its only been a couple of days since it opened. Understandably working out the kinks and getting their processes and systems working. I waited 24 min for a 2 lunch sandwich take out order. No big deal. Where the rubber hits the road is portion size. Daily Provisions? More like Daily Rations. Their lunch sandwiches are right sized if you are dieting. You'll want a bag of chips or a side but you probably don't want to get a side because they are $9. All in all, if you get a sandwich, side, and a beverage, your lunch will be $32+ Welcome to Manhattan... oops wait this is Jersey City not Manhattan- my bad.

If you want to get completely ripped off and pay $15 for some bread with a very tiny piece of salmon on mediocre bread and $11 for eggs full of eggshells, then this is the place to go. Even the crullers were uncooked. Im absolutely shocked by the terrible value and disastrous food prep. Potentially the worst quality and value in Jersey City. They’ve set a new bar.

Cute location. Large space. But food was cold. All crullers were burnt and tasted like dirty burnt oil…unfortunate because we purchased half dozen. Have to ask for coffee lid, straw, napkins. Drinks come way after food. No bar. Great to have a location in NJ but this one doesn't hold a candle to Manhattan West.

I’m not sure where the negative reviews are coming from - maybe during their first week they were still figuring out their processes. We live nearby, and this has quickly become our favorite spot. Everything is delicious and fast. Even on the busiest Sunday morning, we never had to wait more than 15 minutes for our food. The staff is polite, and you can tell everyone is really trying. It’s such a joy to finally have a proper breakfast place in Jersey City!
