Goodness gracious, this place is LEGIT! My first stop after arriving in Maui and on my way out to Kihei. Had both the Poi and Ube fried mochi. Both were AMAZING! Definitely try out the various sauces if you can - I also had mine with powdered sugar. The texture is to die for and the flavor is spot on, not overly sweet either. Because I was thirsty after a long flight, I tried the Lychee Lemonade slushy and it was fantastic - just the right amount of sugar and tartness and the ice was perfect. They are super friendly so don't hesitate to ask questions if you have any! Will definitely be making another trip while I'm out here.

So happy I made my husband turn around when we passed this little gem! The fried mochi was delicious, my favorite flavors were ube and strawberry and I loved the coconut cream on the side. I hope we make it back to Laihana so we can sit for a while and try their Mochi Delight sundae.

Our first time trying Poi & Ube Mochi! It was good, just not our favorite dessert. Dee is wonderful and so friendly. She gave us some of her special cheesecake sticks (Delicious)! We also got the white chocolate coconut dipping sauce and enjoyed trying her fresh mochi!

I think this is the only place on the island of Maui to get poi donuts or poi mochi! It was fried to perfection where the shell was crunchy and crisp but not hard; and the inside was soft and chewy and doughy!

We tried all of the flavors of mochi, and our favorite was the poi. My partner liked the ube second best, and I liked the chocolate second best. We got the white chocolate haupia sauce and the POG sauce. Both had good flavor, but the white chocolate haupia was our favorite dipping sauce.

Service was super friendly. There is seating in the shade next to the food truck. Everything is made fresh (which is why it's so delicious) so be prepared to wait 5-10 min. for your food.

Cute, local dessert truck! All the flavors really shine through without being overpowering or too sweet. We got a 4 pack of assorted (ube, poi, Lilikoi, and lychee). The white chocolate coconut sauce was perfect! I don’t like anything too sweet and it was just right. The Mochi are made to order so they’re piping hot when they come out. Give them a few mins to cool down so you don’t burn your tongue.

The parking lot is set up with music and string lights. The tables have games on them. Just a really fun, relaxed vibe. Good spot to stop by if you have a late night sweet tooth!

Happened to see this little food tuck when I was driving by and decided to try the fried mochi balls. Got the 8 piece so we could both try all the flavors. They are made to order so it take a few minutes before you get them but they come out hot and crispy. My favorites were the Ube and Lychee flavor.

Stumbled on this place and what a nice surprise! One of a few places that open late (till 10pm), a solely dessert truck and their poi mochi (made with purple taro) is piping hot out of the oven! Bite size, chewy, nice flavor, our favorite was the poi and ube ones. A bit tucked away, but definitely will come back for more!!!
