I eat at Del Taco once in a while. Great food and prices even as inflation is going up. I use the app and coupons for deals. The atmosphere is usually quiet, as I show up mostly at night. Furthermore, the place is clean, and the customer service is excellent. Probably my only real complaint, is it's cold to sit there, even when the outside temperature is cold. I know it's because the kitchen is hot and if there were no fans and AC, the restaurant would be too warm and humid to eat inside. I'll continue to buy my Del Taco food from this location.

I ordered on the app.This location is 5 minutes and closest.Sent hubby to pick up. There were no milkshakes available I ordered 2. The app didn’t say not available, if it had I would go elsewhere as that was what everyone wanted!.The burritos were unmarked forcing us to open all items trying to determine whose it was. Disgusting when opened!! The steak w/ pico-guacamole had no guac, just gray matter akin to vomit.,Ice cold. After seeing this, yes you got it, In the trash it went.The tostada was freezer cold.in center. Had to microwave it then guess what? Pure mush no crunch. In the trash. Cost was $42.00 for 4 items less 2 shakes they don’t have. 2 items trashed, hubby ate he was starving and looked the other way..(men!?) This location needs a corporate visit and employees trained. Absolutely disgusting, appalling what we received for $42.00 no supervision at all. The checked by sticker has NO NAME written to pinpoint responsibility. Why use this measure of check since it clearly is not in use. Don’t put the empty stickers on the bags! No standards followed. 7 pm Saturday 8/10/2024. I can’t ever eat at a Del Taco again. Disgusting. Thx for ripping us off DEL TACO on LA Ave Simi Valley in the Smart & Final shopping center. $42.00!!!!!! Gone!

I don't normally review fast food because it's fast food. Everything about it can change daily depending on who's working and how busy it is. They gave me half a freaking Epic Burrito tho! This thing costs 8 bucks. It was everything but epic. Smh. Go support a mom & pop counter order place. With how much fast food costs now u might as well go get something fresher & higher quality. It only costs a lil more, tastes better and the local family owned spots need our business more and appreciate our business more. I mean when I'm low on funds and got the munchies I'm sure I'll be on their app again but jeez... I included a 16.9 oz water bottle in the pic so u have something to compare it to. Del Taco was definitely a miss on this day.

The fries are never done all the way. So we just through them out. So we basically through out half our food since fries are half the meal.
The asada is way to chewy and has lots of fat for processed foods.

We come here often for different meals. Your staff is always courteous and efficient. Food is always high quality, well prepared and delicious. Not sure where some of the complaints are happening. Not sure when Del Taco came here, but we have lived here over 35 years and never had any of those negative experiences.

Used to have no issues at this Del Taco but this was the 5th time they got my order wrong in the last 8 months. I order the same things every other Tuesday and it's not a difficult order; 6 value tacos with no cheese, and an Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito (or 2 Beyond Avocado Tacos). The person at the window/mic always says the correct order and the receipt is always accurate to what I asked for but what's in the bag is usually wrong half the time.

I have a dairy allergy so I always order stuff without cheese. They got it wrong a couple times at first and I let it slide opting to remove the cheese myself but the 3rd time they got it wrong I had to complain because not only was it getting annoying but they gave me just meat and melted cheese with no lettuce, there's either a major communication issue in the back or someone is trying to be funny.

So after that I tried ordering stuff that doesn't contain cheese, like the "Epic Chicken Avocado Burrito" or the new "Beyond Avocado Tacos" but apparently they can't even get that right. Over the last 3 months I've received a "Grilled Chicken Burrito with cheese" instead of the "Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito" which I was charged for on the receipt and this time I got the "Beyond Tacos with cheese" instead of the "Beyond Avocado Tacos" that I ordered.

I will not be going back there and I recommend that everyone checks the order thoroughly before driving off.

Angelique was the person taking my order in the drive thru today at 3:44 pm August 13th, 2024. I came to the intercom wanting to order the taco Tuesday but double the order so meaning 6 tacos in total. She asks me what size I want the tacos ( I thought they came in one size for the taco Tuesday) so I asked what size they came in. She grew quite and so I thought I was asking a dumb question . I said regular size which I thought would’ve been interpreted as the regular size for taco Tuesday. Then I ordered chili cheese fries and a large cherry Coke. I pulled out to the window when I made sure perfectly clear what I ordered. She told me I ordered two tacos when I said “no” and I repeated my order. She changed my price and it rang up differently which was fine but I felt like I was being over charged. I ran back the order with her passive aggressive attitude. She handed me the bag and I left. I checked the bag at the end of the drive way and saw that she in fact did mess up the order and I went back In. It was almost as though she expected me to come back in because as I came in she handed me a bag and said “here you go” with a smirk on her face. I looked I. The bag again and she didn’t get the order right again. Mistakes happen but deliberately messing up orders is something different.

Tacos smelled pretty bad when my daughter complained there was something hard inside her taco. It was a hard piece and couldn't tell what it was but it had a funny smell.
