Had everything we needed and more! Tried the "Ramey's brawley chicken" and it was delicious on the grill. Perfectly marinated in lemon. We took some home with us.
Must stop when in Borrego!

It's one of two food markets in Borrego Springs and in my experience in general it's cheaper than Center Market. However I noticed that the price listed on the shelf wasn't the same as what I was charged. I can understand a small delay between changing the price on the shelf & the price charged at the register. However this discrepancy went on for about 4 weeks. I mentioned this discrepancy to the cashier who said whatever is on the register is the actual price. Hmm. I'm no lawyer but it seems to me that this practice if deliberate isn't legal. So you might want to carefully scrutinize your receipts while shopping here.

Happy with selection, store much cleaner than competitor, prices okay considering located in this remote desert village. They deliver through Mercado app or can pick-up at store which is great for someone with limited mobility. Looking forward to buying from them in future.

I was not expecting much because of the other reviews but this place is fantastic. All the fresh fruits & veggies you could need (and all looking super fresh and better priced than anywhere else I've been in CA). Even if you are a picky eater like I am, they have lots of variety and healthy options for each kind of item. Fridges are all kept nice and cold. Cashier was super nice and chill. What more could you even ask for?

It had all the groceries I needed for my trip. Except for chapstick, but I believe they ran out. I was also able to use the restroom. Which was good after a long drive.

excellent new fresh clean recently expanded store. great selection. much better prices than other option across the street. delivery available. 90 % of my grocery shopping done here
